Haha @ The dreaded 12". 12" is my preferred daytime length for if i'm out and about although i can wear 10" on regular days as long as i change frequently. Because i'm a center bleeder, i don't need length so much as width, absorbency and wing coverage. On heavy days i can I can get away with a 12" for daytime for out and about as long as it is wide and heavy with wrap wings. If i'm lounging around at home then i need a longer pad to catch back drips. My preferences have changed since i started using pads and more and more i find myself drawn to longer pads whereas when i started i almost only wore 10" pads. This seems to be a common theme in the community.
12" is definitely my enemy. It is just wrong. It will be interesting to see where this big pad journey of yours takes you. I squeel (in pain) when I see your liner collection. My head cannot wrap itself around how small they are and yet you are comfortable!
Love your videos and very informative. I have 5 period underwear I have 5 pads (heavy bleeder 2 days) I have 10 liners I am in the beginning of my cloth pad journey 👍😊 But I have to wear a cloth pad and my period underwear when I sleep to save my white sheets lol I thought I was hemorrhaging, that how bad it got for me. Started to take my iron pills every day.
I made some 12" heavy pads in the beginning and I don't use them because I'm a light-to-moderate bleeder. For my heaviest days I use 10" moderates and 12" moderates for overnight. That is one of the beauties of cloth pads... That length and absorbency are not a one-size-fit-all. I needed the length but not the absorbency, the same with liners. Disposable liners were just too short. The smallest I need is 8" and I need them with at least anti pill fleece because I have a lot of vaginal discharge throughout all of my cycle
You can use a 12" moderate at night? That is a whole other world! I think it is a real shame that we are robbed of self awareness by the disposies. As a grown woman... I feel I should have known all this about myself already. Give the unused pads to someone in need😉. Sharing is caring🙃.
Will you consider doing a video about how to chose shapes of pads? I definitely value your opinion. Thank you 😊
Yes, I will. Thank you for your suggestion.
