@mauronicolo89 I don't like alcohol at all but I like the fruity birrel idk how to explain its taste but it has the bitterness of beer (I guess xdd) without the taste of alcohol and I usually prefer the fruitier/sweeter ones as well :)
Sojový suk is surprisingly good. Ye it is not crazy taste experience, but its good enough to justify buying that little guy. Also the Vincentka water does also help when you have full nose 'n such.
We have 0.000% tolerance for alcohol while driving, that is why the non-alcoholic beers are a big thing. You drink it when you "want beer" and "can not have beer". Also makes it better for abstinents to fight ostracization in pub, they are still drinking beer.
@@mauronicolo89 Not really, the beer is good and why get hammered when you dont want to... you can drink this stuff at work and nobody can say a thing. Also with what "skilled" drivers we have (very aggresive) on roads and "discipline" to obey the laws (basically nobody respects the speed limits outside city) and the biggest czech lie ever "We will drink only one" (it is never just one, never ever)..... you have a deadly combination. I will take 0 tolerance over deadly danger anytime.
8:30 A lot of the radlers are non-alcoholic, because a normal radler has 2% alcohol, and that's almost nothing and you can't drive, so it's better to just drink non-alcoholic radlers. I prefer Birrel, Birgo is a bit bland IMO. There are sooo many flavours!

Non-alcoholic beer is not counted towards our consumption of beer... at least I really think so. Also I haven't ever seen such a repertoire of non-alcoholic beer... I still remember when all I saw of them was "plain" Birell and/or "plain" Radegast at stores. Also the people that I know of (including me recently) who drink non-alcoholic beer are people who like normal alcoholic beer but either temporarily at the time or permanently can't drink alcohol... like drivers or people who regurarly take some medicine which shouldn't be mixed with alcohol or pregnant women at least in late stages of pregnancy or abstinents or just someone who wants to taste a non-alcoholic beer for a change... oh and kids.
Yes, supermarkets have their own bakery BUT the use pre-frozen products that they just heat up. So not like they have a baker that makes fresh produce every day.
Don't be disapointed, non-alcoholic beer is not counted to average beer consumption per capita, which was a long time 0,5 liter of beer per day, including newborns 😁 But now it is around 0,460-0,465 liter of beer/day
non alcoholic beer are great when you need drive and want somethign liek Coca Cola or Pepsi etc but way less sweet. its great in sumemr those fruity one . but yeah classic alcohol free is terrible :D
8:40 - The thing is that here in Czechia, most of people are alcoholics and you need to have serious reason for not drinking actual beer and even when you really can't drink alcohol becuase you are driving or something, it's expected from you to drink non alcoholic beer, becuase coca-cola and these things are considered more like for kids. I hate this part of our cutlure, but it is like it is.
😁 I vehemently disagree about us Czechs being alcoholics... among other instances it is a really long time ago when during one birthday celebration evening we (I think it was mainly me, my 3 brothers and our uncle) drunk dry all the wine bottles we each brought and all the wine bottles from a cellar originally stored for future (all I know that it was much more than 10 bottles because at 10 I stopped counting)... it is a really long time ago when during my dance lessons I somehow apparently (per my friends and family) ended up passed out on a wooden fence... it is a really long time ago when during Easter I and one of my friends ended up passed out in two different parts of town just after our last Easter visit. 😉 That disagreement was of course a joke but I really disagree with You on that cola or anything other non-alcoholic beer is considered for kids nad therefore it's expected of You to either drink some alcohol or non-alcoholic beer. I am from a village and usually if someone here doesn't drink alcohol in a pub they either ask for Kofola or some limonade rather then Birell or any other non-alcoholic beer... that's also the case whenever I go to restaurants and most pubs all over Czech Republic... exceptions are in my experience so-called bars.
