Kosciuszko NP - Stilwell Plateau

A return walk across the Stilwell Plateau.
Autumn 2024 #2 : Charlotte pass - Mt Stilwell - Walk along the plateau to the highest outcrop - Visit to the southern most outcrop - Return.
Distance : About 9 km return.
Walking conditions : The Stilwell track and Alpine meadows.
Notes : Another look at the Stilwell plateau, this time walking to the southern extremity. This bleak area is extremely exposed to high winds and, typical of the Snowies, absolutely beautiful on a fine day. The long undulating plateau runs high above the Snowy river to the west, and the Thredbo river to the east.
