Congratulations on the 2,000 subscriber mark. Your videos are really anticipated every weekday evening. They are leading me in the right direction, that is, to the purchase of 69 Ghia .
Many congratulations on 2000 subscribers! I have been sharing your videos every day - your channel deserves a big following! I really look forward to your videos every day - I watch at breakfast here in Norfolk, England! I really appreciate the quality of the work you do, and it is really inspiring me to hopefully get back into a VW after many years! 👍❤️
Nice Milestone! 👍🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 hey, if you do a video you should do a roll by of you driving it 😁 Hey, what happened with the Cal bug door window scrapers?
My Dad's 64 Beetle came with continental tires which actually dry rotted on the car. lol. It was only three miles to his work. I like the Firestone tires and you had mentioned putting on Coker Tires? They look great also. Which one has preformed the best? When I had the original radio restored I was told that the original 64 color on the knobs was called Silver Beige (Gray). They are hard to come by and apparently, because the Grey deteriorates in the sun. I had to go with the Ivory as replacements which seems a bit more yellow than the Gray. Also Looking at the picture he took of the Beetle when he purchased it his hub caps OEM didn't have black in the middle VW stamp and as you mentioned in your other video you hand painted them. As a purest I was wondering if the customer requested that? Still it's a wonderful job you are doing on the 64. I so want mine to look that good.
Thanks. I have the most experience with the Firestones and Excelsiors, which i have on my 56 vert and my 52 split. Traction is better on the Firestone. It's weird with the hubcap logos. Even VW sales brochures don't seem to be totally consistent on showing them painted. Some car definitely came with them painted though.
The body is actually done! We just dont have room at the moment in the shop, so the guy that did the paint and body has it safely tucked away till we have the space. Hopefully in a week or so. Engine is being built currently. 😎
Great job , the family is gonna love the bug!🎉
Yes they are! I'm excited for them to start a new chapter with it!
