I wanted to vid dair. Wanted to make a tiny vidlet or instagram edit...So naturally at 3am I was going through my music folder looking for inspiration. And when I saw this song, and then gave it a listen.... Wow. I was shook. Listen to the lyrics and tell me it's not dair.
It's literally so perfect for them. So I wanted to showcase how Blair wanted to be happy, a pure, simple, good love. But in the end she didn't get it, too consumed by her "great, crazy love" - It's a tragedy. The way this show was written from 3x18 to 5x21... Dair was truly the only choice? Just LOOK at the material. Listen at what the characters are saying. I wanted to showcase that, which is why there's actually so much Chuck on this lmao. But, cmon, the song speaks for itself.
What started as a 50 second vidlet turned to 2 minutes, then the entire song. And, tbh, I still needed more lmao.

Chuck said “there’s a difference between the great love and the right love” and chuck was the great love but Dan was the right love. Dan was there for her through everything. They are total opposites but they’re so right for each other. And I think that they should’ve put out more of Blair’s soft side. The side that ate takeout and watched movies. The one who laughed and had fun with him. She was truly happy with Dan and you could tell.
Dan and Blair had real deep mature relations and love. They are soulmates.
I will never ever get over the fact this two didn't end up together. After all this time I still look forward for videos of them and I am really glad this fandom is still alive. Thank you.

Got to love the "dare to defy" motto more like dare to disappoint. I love this video, it hurts. It still hurts me now because I know in the actual universe that exists in some other world where this place is reality, they DID end up together- no matter what our world decided to write whether for fans or because technically there are stories of people who choose shiv in comparison to titanium and they want it to be relatable- i don't think these two really are capable of being relatable, not where it counts haha.
As for the video itself, I see what you mean by a lot of C in this. Though all the scenes with him prove that they're horrible for one another. I love the scene transitions from one momennt to the next, awesome context there!
Well, as usual I see Dair and that you made it and I click so fast it's scary. So beautiful. The parallels in this are amazing and it kills me even more that they didn't end up together. Dan wrote a book about her and she told Chuck that he didn't have her heart anymore. How did the writers totally reverse all of that, I'll never understand it.Truly beautiful editing.

Wow this is so beautiful! I mean these parallels and editing..., Everything looks perfect. I'll never stop being angry about Blair being with Chuck in the end. I mean he always says that she's powerful etc but he never shows that. He payed for her freedom and didn't respected her in a way Dan did. Dan's words were always compatible with his actions and think Blair always wanted pure, good love, that's why she was with Nate in the beggining of the show. Well, too bad that writers support only toxic relationships...

This video is probably one of the best Dair edits, I should truly have been the endgame, they brought out the best themselves...
