- When you think of amazing sandwiches, Bali probably isn't the first place that comes to mind. But recently, I discovered an absolute gem of a cafe that serves up some of the best deliciousness I've ever had. Bettybake in Sanur is unassuming from the outside, but once you bite into one of their creations, you realise you've stumbled onto something special.
Not only are the sandwiches delish, but they serve up fantastic coffee as well. With both air-conditioned and outdoor seating, it's the perfect place to come for a relaxing meal. Unreal!

Name: Bettybake
Address: Jalan Danau Poso 39, Sanur
As I go to new places and try new things in Sanur, I'll be posting updates on a regular basis, so subscribe to see what else I stumble upon.
Loving these new delis and bake houses popping up in Sanur. Everyone loves a fresh sandwich or croissant. Don’t they? Thanks for sharing.
Yeah me too. I’m a big fan of cakes too, but I haven’t found any places yet that I really love, except perhaps Lillian. I think there is definitely room for a cake shop that does non-fancy/french patisserie style cakes. I’m thinking more rustic with unique flavour combinations, especially relying on local fruits, herbs and spices that aren’t regularly seen outside Indonesia. Like, why could you stuff pieces of salak into a ginger cake with some sort of coconut yogurt icing or something?
Anyway, getting a little sidetracked. More bakeries please!
Love these short-and-sweet vids...!! Thanks for sharing!! Great video!! Everything looks so yummy!!
Glad you like them! Trying to find the balance between producing enough stuff and not talking just for the sake of it. Trying to keep things snappy.
That sambo looks delish! 🤤🤤
Yeah it’s certainly one worth returning again and again for!
😊
🙂
Now I definitely want to try the signature sandwich!
We’ll traktir you when we catch up.
@@SanurDiaries sounds good! Looking forward to that 🤤
Nice one Adam, a new one to try when we arrive in September:)
Yep definitely give it a go!
Remember you reviewing restaurants in London. Love it. Thanks for the Sanur review. We are there soon. Very helpful.
Thanks!
That matcha drink looks yum - although i think i will be adding the sugar syrup - Great video again Adam - thank you
Yeah a good place for an icy cold matcha. We should catch up there
Hey Adam, long time follower, used your reviews to good effect when we were in Sanur during April, keep them coming. We were wondering how the Icon Mall had affected local shops and especially the traffic? Try Soya Japanese sometime and Farmors ( Hygge) for coffee and the best chocolate and banana pastry.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the recommendations! I’ll add them to my list.
I think it’s too early to know what the long term effect of Icon will be. My guess is that it will be a non event as far as tourists go (some will go there, some won’t), but i think it’s a different story with locals. If it remains extremely popular with locals, traffic in Sanur will be bad (at times).
I don’t think Icon is the end of the world, but i would prefer Sanur without it because it’s not in keeping with the town’s aesthetic. We’ll see how it plays out over the next year… i might make a video about it later this year after things have settled down.
Wow Adam! Makanan terlihat enak sekali!. Ada vegetarian options juga?
Ada bro. Ada pilihan salad dan beberapa light meal yang mengandung daging yang bisa minta tanpa daging. So yeah, pasti layak dicoba kalau lagi In the area!
@SanurDiaries Thanks for getting back to me, Adam. Slow down on the Bahasah. I'm only up to kira kira 600 words. 😅😅
Terima kasih guru saya. Mungkin bertemu denganmu dan Susan oktober/ November.
