    Thanks so much for posting these episodes. In many ways the 1970s were a rotten set of years; but in many other ways, it was GREAT! And Match Game was one of things that made that decade bearable for me as a kid! (I was born in 1964.)

      I was born in 1963. Saturday Morning cartoons, Batman reruns, Lost In Space reruns, and Star Trek reruns are what made the 70s great for me.

    The "Mattress" answer reminded me of when I was 11 years old and my 22-year-old sister hid her Playgirl magazines under the mattress, but I found them!
    The men hide their Playboy magazines there as well, or in their sock drawer.

    ROFL! Another fine episode! ;0) ROFL! Love ya Gene! ;0) Is the one where the sign almost gets hit from the turnable or looks like it does from the funny moments and bloopers video on youtube.. ;0) Dayton had him dressing so straight in the beginning, nothing too wild yet or was Dayton there yet?.. ;0) Hah Gene pointed out the blank in the first question.. ;0) Now Richard is to his first finish ways.. ;0) I liked it when Gene tries explain why the answer isn't a match, sometimes it doesn't make a whole lot of sense but at least I can see where Ira was coming from or at least what Gene thinks Ira is coming from. ;0) Did Gene pick the right Richard this time? ;0) No kissing or hugging yet I see.. ;0) Gene forgot to put the mic down after the super match, show he is used to have a mic in his hand.. Unless there is something wrong with his lapel mic we don't know about. ;0) ROFL! My husband was drunk when he asked her to marry him!? ;0) Was that Marc saying Richard or Gene again? ;0) Turnable moved too soon.. ;0)

    • @Smokr
      @Smokr 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@NighTillDawn65 I think I see your meaning, however the problem with your statements is that without the TRADITIONAL basis of Easter Sunday, the resurrection of Christ, then there never would have been bunnies, eggs, etc. Also, without the TRADITIONAL celebration of the birth of Christ, there would be no Christ's Mass (Christmas) and hence no Santa Claus, gifts, etc. There is no bunny and there is no Santa without Christ's TRADITIONAL celebrations. What you call 'traditional' is in fact not traditional at all, it is a modern, secular, meaningless perversion. Why even have bunnies and eggs and Santa and gifts if you're not celebrating the traditional meanings of the holidays? Without those TRADITIONAL meanings, then all you have is an empty secular celebration of nothing. Eggs symbolize birth and renewal = the resurrection and thus our renewal through it. Gifts symbolize God's giving us the gift of his own son. The bunny is a perversion and secularization, as is Santa. Please note that the name Santa Claus is a perversion of 'Saint'. A false saint giving out material possessions to pervert, secularize, replace and degrade the holy gift of God's own son.
