StarFox Adventures had a cool idea of showing the characters on the Great Fox hanging around in their off time and then they never did anything with that again. Really cool to see the characters in their off time like real mercenaries and adventurers do when stuff isn't exploding at present time. Nice work!
Reminds me a bit of Starcraft 2 hubs. Don't need to be complicated, just put in a good decor, possibly animated, and then program some interactions after/between certain missions to give a sense of livelyhood to the whole place ;7
This is really awesome! It’s worldbuildlike this that makes the story feel immersive and lived in. It reminds you that you aren’t just playing an arcade game where you do nothing but blow up spaceships. You and your crew are in this together on an epic mission to save an entire solar system.
What you've done with this project has absolutely outpaced anything Nintendon't has done. Whatever you make here will be the official cannon for me and so many other fans who eagerly await the opportunity to play this! Simply amazing!
Were you talking about the shopkeeper? Shabunga is actually a different character who has the split personality syndrome. But yes, I did enjoy your voice work on the shopkeeper. I really hope you have more voice lines for him. Especially random, funny voice lines to lighten up the atmosphere.
Fantastic showcase! Really makes the world that much more immersive for the long term. If you want to take December off, that's totally understandable. It's always the busiest time of the year, and this one being no different.
This is part of what made me love Wing Commander so much. I am super stoked to see you wanting to embrace this aspect. It really helps to give life to an otherwise fast paced style of gameplay that leaves little time to appreciate those you fly with and work besides. Keep up the fantastic work!
I love the immersive menus from Freespace 1 and 2. However, I don't recall there ever was an option to talk to crewmates. I think that was mostly because there weren't really any named pilots in Freespace games. It was supposed to make you feel like you are a grunt inside a large fleet, even if you were an elite grunt. It was more about the larger conflict between races and the capital ships were almost like characters or they represented the admirality which you never really interacted with on a personal level. I still remember the loss of Galatea *sniff* Anyway, having small conversations with the Stafox cast and buying new tech is really welcome. Unlike Freespace, Star Fox is a much more personal game. Not to mention you're a merc so having the financial aspect to the whole operation is perfect. At this point I shouldn't really be surprised with all the additions for the OG Freespace 2 engine but it's always amazing to see the enhancements. Every time I think I can finally play the finished game, you bring in something new. You constantly move the goal post. It's almost frustrating in a weird way but I love it.
8:26 ...Yeah, I wonder what the Menu will look like Post-Sears mission... Wonder if the character there will have unique lines for what happened? 11:28 I think that "Snake Guy" is named "Shabunga". I wonder if the Wolfen II would be given a High-Def look? Or if we can unlock it for Star Fox's use? 18:29 The map looks pretty cool, and reminds me of the Ink Brush drawings of Okami... And the Idea you gave makes it even better.
EXTREMELY AMAZING. your friend did amazing making this. It is awesome, you really made the right call. this will be really fun and enjoying when it is fully completed. And no doubt there will be much more to come, it will be worth the wait. Continue doing wonderful.

An idea for the parchment map in the Saria level, have drawing or sihilottes of the bosses encountered there to give it a sense of danher or mystic. Anyways, really loving how this is coming along and looking forward for more!
I can voice Yaru with no problem. I believe his voice debuted in Star Fox 64 3D on the 3DS. Whether it's that, or something different, or some other character, IceCreamMan hook me up.
I just had a CRAZY idea for Pigma when (And Only When) you start doing the Assault part of the story. Now, keep in mind this is just an idea, and I'm not telling you what to do, but please think about it when the time comes. OK, here's my idea for Pigma in the Assault. When you start doing the 4 alternate paths for Assault, why not do 4 alternate phases of Pigma???? Alternate Path #1 can be where he's normal (For Pigma) and not being controlled of the Aparoids. Alternate Path #2 is where he's looking paranoid, hearing and talking to (The Queen) himself. Path #3 is when he's half Aparoid; I don't if he'll be fighting Star Fox with, or against his Aparoid half. And #4 is where (You Guessed It) Pigma's gone and Star Fox is left with the Aparoid Monster made from what WAS Pigma. This last one can be the alternate path to Sauria. Now (I Repeat) keep in mind this is just an idea, and I'm not telling you what to do, but please think about it when the time comes. Also, I don't mind if you (And Your Crew) take a month off after Darkice Mines. Everyone needs one. Keep up the great work.🐷🐷🐷🐷🦊🦊🦊🦊🦕🦕🦕🦕🦖🦖🦖🦖

Ok, I just downloaded Star For Event Horizon and gave it a shot. Most of the controls worked fine, but it seems like the game couldn't detect my trackpad, so I couldn't steer the arwing. I'm gonna try to get a mouse to plug in to my laptop and hope that works, but for the time being, I can't get through the tutorial. Just figured I'd let you know. Edit: Scratch that! Figured it out! It was set to use a joystick instead of the mouse. Sorry for the false alarm!
@@UndyingNephalim One thing I would like to mention is that I wasn't able to play Macbeth. The game kept crashing whenever I tried to load it. The error message said that a line had over 25 vertices, or something like that. The line number was somewhere in the 400s, but I don't remember the exact number. My OS is Mac OS 15.0.1. Will you be able to rotate the bridge view? I found the main menu bridge 360° pan view centering around the star map to be pretty cool and filled with nice details like the photos on the wall by krystal's desk. Fara in the landmaster also looks pretty cute. The map of sauria also feels very reminiscent of the maps of Middle Earth from Lord of the Rings
I got word on the discord that the bridge is actually pre-rendered. There likely wouldn’t be a 360 degree pan, but there would probably be a limited one.

By which i mean, will there be an option other thanrestarting a campaign from scratch when you want to unlock a new level? Because i got in the situation of unlocking most lylat wars levels, except a pretty late one, and it will take some missions i have already played to get there, which is a bit time consuming, especially missions here are much longer than in SF64. I definitely wouldn't mind being capable of continuing the campaign from an earlier save point or something like that. But i mean I can also life without that, so it's just a question.
