Windows weren’t cleaned. We had no mugs cups plates knives or forks. We went there just because we heard that it was fun and a good laugh so we went there as a family. It was the worst decision we’ve ever made. rubbish EVERYWHERE. Like you couldn’t go anywhere without seeing rubbish you would have to dodge.

I feel so sorry for the staff. We talked to the cleaners and they get less than 5 mins per chalet. Years ago this was the park that parents went to to get drunk and ignore their kids. Pontins really need to get their act together and invest in their staff and business.

Omg, as soon as I saw the title I got ptsd flashbacks. Imagine my horror when I recognised the holiday park. The day we arrived there we saw 3 burnt out cars, eeeeek. As we were trying to find our chalet there was smoke coming from one of them and kids running away laughing. The place reminded me of a prisoner of war camp. The place was filthy and 'guests' were leaving with the contents of the chalet. Police were there so often they may as well of given them a permanent base in the site.
Pontins when I was little wasn’t this bad, such a shame it’s gone so down hill… but love the content guys!!!

I knew immediately what this was as soon as I seen the thumbnail! Very nostalgic from my childhood, it was never this bad! So sad to see it like this! As you were walking round, so many memories came flooding back to me. Amazing video guys.

When we went here as a very large group, one family had their chalet robbed. Thieves took the laptops and other things. Also allegedly the staff sell the spare keys to the rooms to thieves. But like I said this is ALLEGEDLY.

Recently came across your channel, really enjoying your worst and best rated videos. I stayed here 2 years ago, they had teenagers working as cleaners and we had to get them to our room to clean it. Still wasn't done to a decent standard so we went to tesco, bought cleaning products and I bleached the place myself before we slept there. We would of left but we had a super long drive to get there and treated it as just a place to sleep x
i have actually been to this exact pontins when i was a kid and i didn’t even realise how dirty it was until now. although i did go to a really good pontins in weston-super-mare, i don’t think i would go back to the one that you guys went to in wales. anyways, love you!

You need to watch the 1974 film "Holiday on the buses" as this is where it was filmed. Jack and Stan get jobs there for the summer season. You will see that a lot of he buildings have not changed since then.

i went to pointins years ago, and we had to go and buy a mop because it was so dirty. even my dog was disgusted
Omg same we where going there for three nights and we ended up only staying the two nights because the beds where hard as a rock the kitchen was full of dirty dishes the was dust everywhere and also rubbish there was mold and it was so nasty we ate food from the shop or go restaurants because we would not eat for there.
And I stayed there at 2018 and it looks like it hasn’t changed a bit

we had to stay at this site for my daughters dance com (every year for years )a few years ago we always cleaned the place before we settled in but the best of it was that my friend was staying upstairs and they had mice how the hell did mice get up stairs always came home and a few days later we were I'll thank God my daughter doesn't do dancing anymore

I used to stay there in the 80’s for Majorettes comps, it was great back then, we have fantastic memories of Pontins Camber Sands, shame it’s been let go so badly.
I have worked on Camps for quite a few years on and off , I have never seen one this bad !! , I could tell you quite a few stories though especially about Haven Sites like Primrose Valley , beautiful site and great facilities , but behind the scenes its something else especially 10 years ago !!
I’m freaking out because i’ve been there!! In August last year me my mum and sister wanted to go on a holiday becusse we couldn’t do anything due to COVID 19. We found this place and the reviews were TERRIBLE! It took us the WHOLE EVENING just to get our room! And we got there at 12pm!! We didn’t get in our room till 7pm! Me and my sister were exited for the pool but it was closed due to COVID! All the fun things were closed! So in the rooms they have stickers on it saying it was COVID cleaned and our room wasn’t! So at the time we were very scared and cautious of the germs and wanted a clean room. So we went in the office and waited another TWO HOURS in a que that only have ONE MEMBER out! Luckily in the time the arcade was down the right so me and my sister played in there while my mum waited. 1 hour later, the lady refused to let us have a clean room so we have to leave and find a cleaner to clean it for us! This lovely lady called Sadie cleaned our room for us and i forgot to mention our room has crumbs EVERYWHERE and mild everywhere and when sadie finished cleaning she said she changed our bed because there were MOLD on our mattress so she changed it for us! That sleep wasn’t that bad but the mattress was ROCK SOLID! Also the night before my mum went to run a bath and the bathroom LEAKED!! When me and my sister was asleep and my mum had to call help and the manager was trying to just get my mum to wake me and sister up at *3AM* and get out the room and get a new room. My mum refused since she knew it would b another 3 hours to get a room and we were asleep!! So true manager said in the morning we can get a. new room. We woke up had breakfast and got our new room. In the time we decided to walk up to the beach. Which i can fairly say was the BEST thing about this holiday!! And the beach wasn’t even part of Pontins property! We came back and got our keys and again the room wasn’t cleaned! And my mum went to the manager (shes not a Karen don’t worry lmao) and the manager said he promised by the end of the day we would have a clean room. My mum was happy and we got our beach stuff and went back to the beach and had a beach day! That was the best day of our trip!! We returned around 5pm and went to our room. The room WASNT clean you could tell as it stank of i cant even describe!! My mum was furious but all the staff members were lousy and rude we that night we had to all 3 of us share the pull out mattress because the bed had no sheets!! That night sleep was honestly better then the first! My mum couldn’t say the same though! The next day we went back to the beach as it was the last HOT heat left and went there and had a great time. I think we just spent the rest of the day in our room and looking around the place (surprise surprise nothing was open!) The next 2 days me and my family were just fed up and sooooo close to just getting a hotel for the rest of the trip as everything was HORRIBE!! I don’t think i got into enough detail with the rooms though. There was pure dirt and crumbs on the floor and mold everywhere, the food place had dust everywhere and the whole place was TINY!! Worst place we’ve ever been!! Also with the second room my mum just brought some Anti-back spray and cleaning stuff for the room and we did put nest to clean it out self! Honestly the rooms live up to the reviews! and everything shown in Connor and Liannas video gives me deja vu and i hate that!! I was sooo shocked when i went there! lmao and if u made it this far with reading it thank you and i apologies for spelling errors and stuff and God bless❤️❤️
What was the park called I think its the one I went to in North Wales!! Pontins Prestatyn??
I have been to the Wales pontins, apart from the fact that my mum had to deep clean the whole chalet, we had fun at the park itself and with the services you can hire like the go-carts.
When Connor said he was gonna have blood on a sandwich I was pissing my self laughing
I am pretty sure this is pontins Prestatyn. I’ve been there before and the experience was awful we asked for a different room as there was mould dirt and we even found a bucket of what smelt like pee in the closet. They upgraded our room to a beautiful little apartment which was so much better.
Yes it is!! I live in Prestatyn and it’s a nice place except everyone in the town knows that pontins is awful
I’ve stayed at something just like that in wales, thankfully it was a great experience made plenty of memories.
I I would leave, I’d run and get as far away from this as possible. The minute I saw those marks everywhere in that bedroom I’d leg it. Like just looking at it makes me feel ill!

I’ve been to this place a few times and despite how disgusting (!!) it is I always have the best times there. Just goes to show you can have fun anywhere, it’s the company that matters :)

Hey I go there every year for a big dance comp and I was in that exact room trust me it really isn't that bad if your with your friends when I went last year everything was open night clubs the lot. Bingo is normally in that big hall next to the chip shop in the arcade. I would say it's one of the best experiences with your friends ❤️

Makes me really sad - went to Pontins every year when we were kids in 60s and 70s. Partly lack of investment partly the behaviour of some of the visitors it sounds like. We always left our place spotless - people don't expect to have to do that now... Shame. Such happy memories of holidays with my parents and grandparents!

We went there a few months ago and we had to wait 3 hours for our room to be cleaned after waiting 1 hour to get our keys. All our luggage was waiting outside of the room and because of this, we missed the dinner. The room had dirty floors, uncleaned sheets, a dirty tampon on the beside table, dirty cutlery on the sides and maybe a floater in the toilet... Me and my family still made the most out of it! The upside of it is that they have arcades and rides but they costed tokens and each token costed 3 pounds.. Luckily there was shops and beaches nearby and a couple of restaurants:) Sidenote: We ended up cleaning ourselves!

I’ve just found this video… I was at this site about 2003/4 with the kids for a football tournament. It was disgusting back then! Nothing was clean, windows were filthy, even the dads were out with antibacterial sprays cleaning because allowing the kids in. 3 families had to be moved to different chalets as there was no way they were accepting the conditions in the ones allocated. Several more of us had to go find bedding it was just horrendous.

I go to pontins multiple times a year I’ve gone 2 times just in may this year and I’ve been going since I was born and it’s so underrated because every night there is lots of entertainment stuff and activities during the day for children I love it I think u should go another time with Kozy I’ve just came of holiday today from it and I’ve enjoyed it once again x
I have been there!!! Prestatyn! Our room had sticky floors and counters. The beds we could feel the springs. We also had crums on the floor. And left over food. Our shower water was cold and the toilet paper was half run out 😂🤣 so glad you went here I applaud you😂👏👏👏

I feel so bad for the people who have actually been tricked into paying to stay in that dump (honestly no offence to the ppl who work there, I mean it might not be their fault maybe ppl have came and wrecked it)
Ha knew this was going to be where you were. I had the misfortune to have to stay there for a conference that hired the sight. It was genuinely grim. One of my friends chalet had no toilet door, we had broken glass and finger nails on the kitchen floor, clearly not even arsed to clean between guests. Made me feel sad for folk who actually go there for a holiday.
I actually remember going to pontins as a kid it never used to be this bad but I remember one time we didn’t even have blankets and we had to take the curtains down to use as blankets
