    This review and your other one are absolutely awesome. I watched many reviews, and yours is the most unbiased, honest, and authentic. I am sure that because of you, some people who were on the fence are buying the car. Quick question: I just bought one of these. Really like everything about it, except I feel like when in Comfort mode there is a sort of delay, or like a hesitation when starting at a stand still. It's hard to describe, but it's there. Maybe I'm just not used to it. Is that delay sensation something you or your viewers have experienced?

    • @ggcools
      @ggcools  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know exactly what you are feeling. This is the main reason why I do not drive it in comfort mode. The other reason is because I can’t hear the engine noise, which is a little ironic because I’m not a big engine noise guy. I also just like how it accelerates in sport mode and I like how it doesn’t feel like it’s “lagging” trying to get the most fuel economy possible like it does in comfort mode. Also when it’s in comfort mode and I try and pull out in front of traffic there is the delay or hesitation that you talked about and I do not like that. I have learned to drive the whole time in sport mode. I get good fuel economy because I normally use the adaptive cruise control while driving in town and that gives me the best fuel consumption I think.

    • @miketennis14
      @miketennis14 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ggcools Thank you so much Gregory for this information! I noticed exactly what you said in that in Sport mode the lagging is not there. I am going to try to keep it in Sport mode as well going forward. Your detailed description of the characteristic was really a help to me. Also, I agree with you on the radio - with the chip shortage and the general situation with trying to buy a new car, there are no HK systems available. I was very concerned about that, but when I heard the radio I realized it was not bad at all and much better than many other stock systems out there. Thank you again!

    what maintenance do you do and how often? I just purchased a used 2020 BMW 330i xDrive with 61k miles. It is an awesome car but I want to make sure I keep good care of it with minimal repairs

    • @ggcools
      @ggcools  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I sold my BMW to my son after 60K miles. Unfortunately, I’m not exactly sure about all of the maintenance. I followed what the dealership recommended. I had spark plugs replaced, and I had brake fluid replaced. I ended up needing front and rear brakes, including rotors, and, of course oil change every 10k miles. Fairly expensive to maintain. I don’t usually agree on maintenance packages, but moving forward, my wife and I have purchased a maintenance package on our other BMW.

    • @ggcools

      The Vernasca leather has held up really well. My wife has a one year older BMW with the fake leather that already has cracks in it. I have had some rattles on the speaker cover on the dash. The other thing that’s annoying is one of the speakers is blown already in the right door. Outside of that I love it.

    • @ggcools

      I may do that. I’ve had others ask the same thing. These are the costs I can think of so far. Rear brakes $900 (40k miles), front brakes $1000 (50k), spark plugs $300 (60k), oil & filter change every 10k $220, cabin air filter and engine air filter $150, brake flush $200. I pay ~$55 monthly for insurance through State Farm. I average 27mpg in town and up to 39mpg on the road and I drive in Sport Mode 100% of the time.

      Maintenance is covered by BMW for the first three years 36,000 miles. My first oil change at 40,000 miles cost $170. They also wanted to charge $175 for engine air filter and cabin air filter each. Then they wanted to charge $200 for a “vehicle inspection.” That’s when they hook up the computer and do a “wellness check” is similar to “when you go to see the doctor.” I didn’t buy anything other than the oil change I’m gonna do a little bit of research. Next time I buy a BMW I’m going to pre buy maintenance so I don’t have to worry about the costs as they come. I love my car. So the only thing I regret is not purchasing the maintenance package up front.
