Neat little thriller thanks for posting.
loved the way the agent dressed- the ascot and all. Thanks Pizza Fix
Pizza Flix thanks for sharing we love the same kind of movies
No small measures with the drinks
Got to love it
Love these old time singers. Lady GaGa, eat your heart out :)
That’s right.
So true
If I wrote a list of all the so called
Star singers today who really are crap
It would take me all night 🌙
Thanks for posting...great movie, great who done it! Could not figure it out till the end!
Thanks, good movie.
Thank God for the Shadow - we can all sleep safer in our beds at night.
My mother said , all these movies are one long smoke.
The cigarette companies paid actors or the Studio for that Advertising!
I liked the movie :)) how I missed so many, I have no idea. I watched the late show, the late later show and the late later late show! Many times a week.
Are you from NYC? Those late night movies were my Film education

I am From NJ, born in 49.
I remember when all I had on TV was : 2. 4. 7. 9. and 11 .
Then came 3. 5. 6.
Of course the goodnight sign and a buzz. :))
just got done watching the movie and it was excellent I recommend it highly, fast pacing & full of suspense, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Excellent ☺
This was the good old days when the newspapers were thriving! Sorry to say they are going under everyday!
Thank you so much.
A forerunner of C.S.I? Enjoyed this one👍
*SPOILER ALERT* Well you know what they say. You know it’s cold when you see a lawyer with his hands in his own pockets....D
Good film for its day, thanks!
How 'bout this one Steve:
"Why did the Lord create snakes before lawyers?', 'cause He needed the practice".
@@nameskhar1510 😂
Here's one... why don't sharks eat lawyers? Professional Courtesy. Or why don't pigs eat lawyers. There are some things even a pig won't eat.

Good, I like, I like ...
Won der ful ...
good one PF!!!
The time in the tent was worth everything!
Never heard of this series, but I like the movies
Irving Pichel went onto direct Paul Muni in "Hudson's Bay" in 1941.
That generation had style and class
"If Geller will be acquitted, then will be a smell worse than onions in this town."
It is to bad there isn't a lower cost theater that was oldies from opening to closing.
Since when does a Judge recommend a Conviction to the Jury
1937 had organized crime? J. Ed said its nonexistent 😄
"I'm from the government. And you know that we would never lie to you or do anything to hurt you."
Stub Pollard was a great Silent Era comedian.
All these old black n whites I love them all but whenever customers are in a club they’re always given a complimentary bottle of champagne n they’re always having a drink or smoking a cigarette but the smart actors don’t inhale
Back then cigarettes were considered as healthy as vegetables and cigars were meat and potatoes.
Didn't Duncan Renaldo plat The Cisco Kid in the 50's TV series?
Yep.
Greg Duff. Right you are
Why I remember?
And I think the late Leo Carillo played Pancho
"Hey Cisco, let's went". "Aw, Pancho". "Aw, Cisco." Met a Charlie Carillo in '74 basic training. Might have a nephew a few times removed
Been a nephew...
Can't see it, the relationship between the blond Ollie and the handsome boyfriend. I'm only 14 odd minutes in so maybe it will change. If not I question the casting of this woman for this part
Agreed. There was zero screen chemistry between them.
good cast and start but it ended up flat!
The defense attorney, Lester Owen, was played by the same actor who was the lackey to Countess Zeleska in 'Dracula's Daughter '.
That was Irving Pichel, who appeared in scads of films from 1930 to 1953.
I see Duncan Renaldo, he was Cisco Kid .....
oops
Don't forget 'Snub'Pollard a comic from the earliest days of the industry
👍

Lightening the shoe shine guy from amosnandy?
That was Nick Stewart (1910-2000) you're thinking of. And that isn't him.
A good Poverty Row film despite the repeated Asian racism!
You have become a programmed robot. Don't be against racism any longer. It is a branch of science, here expressed as art or entertainment. If snoopy and uninvited so-called "Asians" insist on watchin entertainment not intended for them, then let it be at their own risk, and don't complain about it.
How did this boring, un-Romantic drek, Walter McGrail, get into the movies?
He was a silent era star, but is clear he can't talk.
