💯💯💯💯🎯Absolutely!!!!Great question!!!!! This is actually the reason why I'm watching this video. Canva does not resize. It "CROPS" the image and calls it resize 🤦🤦🤦
😡I literally wasted weeks "resizing" images, only to discover after downloading tons of them, that all the images had been cut off!!!!!😡😡😡!!! Not cool at all!!! Such a deceptive language!! 😡😡😡 Now I have to redo them all over again with another app!!! 😡😡😡😡
This would be great if you could do a video on how to resize a picture to fit in to the YT community post image requirements. I can't figure this out. There are plenty of help videos for those with phones but what about PC's?
I am very confused about pixels and inches every time I look up what a pixels would be for let's say an 8x10 and I put it in the pixels box it refuses to take it or size it. How do I find an app that just lets me size a picture to inches and in the app if I size it to inches and download it what do I download it to that if I was to push print that would actually print in the size that I designed it to do. Every time I make an image and I try to resize it in an app it does not come out of the printer that size. I'm just looking for an app that I can do inches and then resize in the app download and then print it to the size that I made it in the app. I'm going out of my mind trying to figure this out
Does anyone understand how to resize the image outside of the limits? I'm trying to make a 28x28 resize for twitch emotes but it doesn't seem to be letting me make it that small
This was not what I was looking for. I want to resize the canvas / background or what ever you want to call it. I want to be able to type in the dimensions (W = 6,25 inch, H= 5.25 inch). I cannot achieve this by using the mouse to pull it wider and higher. After that, I want to add an image, resize it to W=4.25 inch, H=3.75 inch). Then I want to position the image at the very bottom of the canvas / background and center left to right. Anyone know how this is all achieved?
It's not actually resized. It cut off part of the image to fit the size, but that's not the same as resizing it.
Yes, that is what I am trying to figure out too!
Canva sucks. Simply cropping a design should be super easy
I can resize but cannot figure out how to fit image to the size of the box im needing.
try resize and magic switch, it is a new feature in upper left corner to the right of the word file.
@@EffieComforthahahah this is a paid feature. NOT FREE. Wow. Joke.
Why does it cut off part of the image?
You probably didn't leave space for the bleed

Glad to see I’m not the only one having this issue, I thought it was just me!
Lord has anyone figured it out? It crops the photo completely instead of filling the page out
Yess same situation I m facing
Thank you so much!!! This was bugging me!! LOL! I'm so glad I found your video!😊
I just wanted to say thank you . Your instruction was way more helpful that others I have seen while I am trying to resize a photo for my podcast.
so many channel over 20 i could not find this, thank you!
You need to describe this for people who are new to Canva.
If I have 40 images in a folder. Can I resize them in one go, instead of individually? I’ve learnt a little 👍👍
I can't tell you how much i love you for this!!!! Thank you!!!!
Canva is driving me mad why can't you just narrow the width etc on an image or element?
Sameee hahahaha

Why use Canva to resize if you have Photosop or Clip Studio Paint?
Your tutorial did not work. Part of the image is cut off.
But how do you actually resize the size of the frame?
can i zoom out the image ?
I want to RESIZE not crop. How can i do that??
Can I resize with the free version of Canva?
No you can't. Canva tells you to "buy" the 15/mo Pro version for that.
I would not call this "simple" because it assumes that I know a LOT more about Canva than I do.
I don't a size that Canva suggests. I want my own size. Thanks
It didn’t work for me
never mind I am sorry ;)
thanks
hahahaha resized it and turned it into a video. how can i just set up the size that i want the image?
This has too many other instructions for the Heading. Also, I didn't find How to resize.
Jesus loves all of you
how about you make a simple video of fitting your image to 8.5 x 11 paper not one video explaining this what a headache
it is cut not fit
y0ou bounce around too much. You deleted then ????????
That was a very confusing video.
Wrong tutorial
This video was not helpful at all.
