If you hold down B and press A on a sim you can use some other cheats and you can do this on objects too especially if you want to make your plants bloom faster.

This is cool because in a lot of games to do this you would need to install mods and all that faff which on console you cant even do that. My builds are going to improve drastically.

You need to be in live mode to activate the testing cheats code. Also if you are on console (well at least the playstation) the code is testingcheats on and not not testingcheats true

Im having a hard time entering longer cheats it’s showing not enough characters (room to type) what can I do?
Close and re-open and don't auto fill if it gives you the option. It's just a little buggy at least that's what it is like on ps4
All the commands work for Me and I discovered a few things on my own. The move objects cheat requires a space then the word on to work. Also when in build mode You have to tap the top buttons again to get free move. try different combo's of press the top bars for a variety of move options. The only one I have not been able find or get to work is make large/small.

I can't seem to get the debug items to show up on mine. I'm on xbox. The rest seem to work perfectly so far thank you so much for this video!
It's glitches atm my cheats don't work at all
I'm glad the video helped, but for the debug items try:
1. Open the cheat window
2. Type "testingcheats true" into the console and press enter.
3. Type "bb.showhiddenobjects" into the console and press enter. This will unlock all of the hidden objects in the game, including the debug items.
4. Type "bb.showliveeditobjects" into the console and press enter. This will unlock additional items that can be used for building and decorating.
5. Enter build or buy mode and use the search bar to find the debug items.
6. Place the debug items in your lot and use them as desired.
these do not work on consoles period

I READ SOMEONES COMMENT BECAUSE I WAS HAVING TROUBLE WITH FULL EDIT MODE BUT THEY SAID THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR XBOX NOT PS4. SO I JUST GUESSED AND IT TO THE FULL EDIT MODE FOR ps4 IS YOU HOVER OVER A SIM AND PRESS X AND O AT THE SAME TIME AFTER YOU PUT THE CHEAT IN!

How I get that bc when I put in cheats nothing happens but it says it's enabled
Something you didn’t show how to do (or I just didn’t notice) is when you clicked a sim and it showed all the options like modify in cas, reset object, cheat need, etc and i forgot how to do it but somehow figured it out but if you don’t know how, you just have to hover over a sim and click a and b button at the same time(on Xbox at least I’m not sure for PlayStation)

Can you explain the “no more achievements” aspect of using cheats? What does this mean or entail? It makes me nervous to use the cheats. But I found out too late about birthday cake making ur sim age, and I had the birthday party too late so my bf (irl and in sims) turned from a young adult into an elder! We just had a baby too so it’s super weird. I want him to revert and I saw u can with a cheat and I want us both to go back to young adult and turn off aging. Thank you!!
Using cheats in The Sims 4 on consoles does disable the ability to earn trophies or achievements during that play session. This is a built-in feature to prevent players from exploiting cheats to easily unlock all achievements.
If you use cheats during your gameplay session, you'll typically receive a notification that the use of cheats has disabled the earning of trophies or achievements for that particular play session. To re-enable the ability to earn trophies or achievements, you would need to start a new play session without using cheats.

Omg ive been trying to figure out how to access cheats for years and when it worked i yeeted my controller into my face in excitment and nkw my lip js bleeding lol
Also if you want to move things smoothly on x box then click the left bumper , you cant put things in eachother but you can put it really close if yoh cant be bothered to activate cheats

When I try hidden objects cheat or a friendship one nothing happens I’ve seen 3 different videos and pages testing cheats true is on I’m on Xbox and all the videos I see for titled for console it seems to be recorded or played on pc

Make sure u have a empty lot and enable cheats and do money and whatever number u want for that much money on the cheats bar and open gallery and go to lots and for pack go to show base game and choose popular or newest and whatever ones don't have a green thing on them are base game ones you can use I got alot of good houses from it

Is there maybe a sims code for having more than 8 sims in a houshold because it's so anoying to have 8 sims max😭😭
Sorry, there is no official cheat or method to increase the household limit beyond 8 Sims in The Sims 4 on any platform, including PS4.
Is there a cheat to give your sims items (not build mode ones just inventory items) with cheats
if you use bb.showhiddenobjects you should be able to buy items you can use in your sims inventory! Just remember to enter testingcheats on, first. Hope this helps!

it’ll pop up as that, but in order for you to really go any further when I typed it in you have to type in the “testingcheats true” but after that it will pop up that if you do continue with cheats that you will not get rewards anyways. If anyone also can help me with that that’s great too lol.😭😭
How about resizing objects?
Use the "bb.moveobjects" Cheat:
Press L1, L2, R1, and R2 simultaneously to open the cheat console.
Enter "bb.moveobjects on" (without quotes) and press Enter.
This cheat allows you to freely move and place objects, which can give the illusion of resizing.
Utilize Objects with Variable Sizes:
Some objects in The Sims 4 have different size variants. You can check if the object you want to use has different size options. When placing an object, press the square button (or the equivalent on your controller) to cycle through available size variants.
You can use the motherlode cheat twice or more, ive only tried twice

Unfortunately no, expanding a household to more than 8 Sims on The Sims 4 console version is not officially supported by the game, and there are no cheat codes that can enable this feature. The game has a hard-coded limit of 8 Sims per household.
on xbox for me when i type the motherlode in the text box and click enter it doesn’t go in the box it just is blank. what should i do?

When entering a cheat it’s important to enter it in the correct mode. So like some of the cheats can only be entered in live mode while others need to be entered in build/buy mode

Idk why but when I do the floor fill placement in a room it works fine butnif it is for walls , Theres no f8pp option and I havento individually fill one wall of each side which is painfully annoying , anyone consoler know how to revert it?
