Honestly I don't even care if a character is like good in game anymore, them having cool/interesting personality or story is honestly those important part! Like for example amber she's so kind and she knows so many other characters in the game and just have like interesting lore.
Rewatching this after the VA’s incident, i realized that i shouldn’t be disliking Tighnari. There’s so much artistry from so many different people to make this character: the directors/writers giving him a story and personality, the musicians making his wonderful emotional theme, the artists giving him beautiful visuals and fx, the programmers making sure he’s working ingame… there’re so many people involved. Hating Tighnari just because his EN VA is a bad person is just not fair. I would still love his character and this demo, just a little less :’>

Just found out yesterday he's the primary dendro dps. As someone with neither childe or ganyu, a bow dps is so hard for me to grasp. Diona and fischl are the bow characters I've primarily used and they are not dps like these 5 stars

I mean the VA casually said "big Lummox" (means stupid/moron) in one of his voicelines towards the traveller and the Devs loved it so much they kept it in. So yeah the VA kinda fits Tighnari in terms of personality.

Just a few things i wanna say after Tighnari's VA incident: - Don't jump Tighnara and his VA together, they are 2 different entities. - Elliot (Tighnari's VA) did something very very bad, but that won't change my opinion on Tighnari as a Genshin character at all, just sad thought that the voice i'm so familiar with be replaced. - Credit when credit is due. Yes, Elliot's actions were bad, but his performance as Tighnari was incredible and really sold. - Don't dislike this trailer because of such unforeseen event in real life, no one knows things would have turned out this way, but this trailer is about Tighnari, a character inside Genshin Impact, not Elliot Gindi the voice actor.

It's gonna be hard for me to move on. We all picture tighnari in his (elliots voice.) It feels like a part of sumeru has been taken away from me as he is my first sumeru 5 star character that I pulled. The character will definitely never be the same to me again. I would never want elliot to be tighnari's va forever, but in reality things are never gonna be the same again. It is just how it is. Hoyoverse will fire him because he tainted the character's and most importantly company's reputation. I don't believe that I'm the only one in a billion players who think like that. I know people are trying to say that tighnari and elliot are different people, and i know that, but it just feels...very sad (unless an evenly good new va for tighnari is found). No matter how we prevent tighnari's reputation from being tainted, it is still inevitable.

I feel bad for what his VA caused to genshin community. I'm a new player but before playing genshin, i came to knew already the issue beforehand (well probably bc of tiktok). So i was like "oh i will not pull tighnari because of the issue" but eventually- in this dehya's banner pulling, i got lost and got him instead of dehya. At first, i was so disappointed and not touching him for a weeks tho he is my second 5 star character but after learning- diving through his stans, i'm just quite fascinated how his fandom was nice, loving and trying to protect him. And i was low ar that time, i came to force to build him with the help of my friend. And i was guilty after knowing that he is so easy and become match unexpectedly to my play style during combat. And after that- because of him (and the windblume festival) i got so much amazing friends, and some of them praising how my tighnari good is. And i'm crying internally because without him, i wouldn't experience this joy and he carried my heavenly journey in the game. I got his C1 last monday, and i never regret any single of it. He's so precious character, his story, his personality and everything inside him is so wonderful, i really loved him despite of my bad impression at the first encounter; for me...i think it's not too late for loving him and i hope some genshin fans came to realize that tighnari WILL BE NEVER AND NOT HIS VA. His fandom is big and lot of nice people~ To my tighnari, no matter what happen in the future, i might change my main or not- you're the main reason where i'm at, i love you and i will protect you at all cost!❤

@@cheraa- Honestly, nothing's been confirmed yet, however, Elliot Gindi (Tighnaris' EN VA) has been involved in a scandal that I'm not comfortable saying here. Pretty much if the allegations towards him is proven, most likely Tighnari's EN voice will be replaced just like how Oz's CN voice was replaced. Take this with a grain of salt.

Elliot definitely was NOT the best person for what he did but his voice fit Tighnari SO well. I completely understand why they changed the voice because if one of the people that was involved with Elliot heard his voice in game, I don't think that would be a very pleasant experience but I still like Zachary Gordon as his va, and I'm happy they found a new person to voice Tighnari
About a week before he got leaked to the community, I was telling my BF how I wanted a character like Ganyu, but with a different element. Preferably even dendro but I joked that was probably too much to ask for. I always like the plant element most in games when it's an option, so I've really been looking forward to dendro the most, then the first 5 star is exactly what I wished for in a dendro character.. Tomorrow is gonna be like the best christmas ever for me.. Congrats to everyone else guaranteed for Tighnari or Zhongli 😊

It won't help Tartaglia or Mona, but it'll literally be a big buff for Yelan for example, heck even Ayato benefits since he is a hybrid hp scaler, and while I've heard that building hp on Ayato isn't that worth it (dont have him, and never tried to get him since I was after Ayaka), it's still a buff nontheless. It's like he doesn't beenfit as much from it, but it's not like it works against him. And for characters like Yelan, it's pretty good. I mean 25% more hp? I just wonder if that is on top of Yelan's passive, probably not though. Or it would have to be nerfed
thats probably because of the way his personality is presented, he feels very much alive and multidimentional like a real person which i have rarely seen other characters accomplish this well. tighnari is a calm, collected and gentle mentor figure but he is also set on doing his research, in addition to that he has that sass and confidence in him with his side remarks.
Seriously man tighnari demo music is super good. The transition and phasing at 1:24 loved it so soothing and gentle just like his personality. I can't stop listening from 1:23, onwards 😭 so soothing to close

I’m absolutely disgusted with Tighnari's EN VA! Elliot is so talented, what an absolute waste it was for him to use that to his advantage!! Tied with his Chinese, he used to be my favourite voice of Tighnari! Now I can barely listen to his voice without feeling slightly ill! To think that a sassy yet kind-hearted character was voiced by someone so twisted it's unsettling! What's worse was how he used his talent and their adoration for Tighnari to lure in those that are vulnerable, and that's what these predators do! So if I'm uncomfortable listening to his EN voice, then I can't imagine how that must feel for the victims that had listened to his lines considering what he did! I'm glad Hoyoverse took immediate action and are working to recast Tighnari; to serve justice for the victims and for EN users to enjoy Tighnari again! like the cute sassy botany nerd he is!!

Также я прекрасно знаю как некрасиво поступил Элиот, но мне то какая разница, что произошло в реальном мире главное что голос подходит ну и отлично. Я непонимаю людей которые говорят что их бесит старый голос VA Тигнари, такое ощущение что именно они и переписывались с Гинди и типо стали «жертвами». Man, I've been falling in love with this dendro fox more and more by time, I was interested on him since I saw him and as we know more about him I've been liking him more and more. Tighnari is such a goal-oriented and objective character, very characteristic of actual researchers/biologists/environmentalists in the field. Glad to see Hoyoverse subtly bringing awareness on protecting our environment through a character like Tighnari!

Please, do NOT mix up the voice behind Tighnari with the character himself. As much as it hurts, as much as I feel sorry for the victims, don't go after the character and mainly DO NOT GO AFTER PEOPLE WHO LIKE TIGHNARI!! Just a few things i wanna say after Tighnari's VA incident:
- Don't jump Tighnara and his VA together, they are 2 different entities.
- Elliot (Tighnari's VA) did something very very bad, but that won't change my opinion on Tighnari as a Genshin character at all, just sad thought that the voice i'm so familiar with be replaced.
- Credit when credit is due. Yes, Elliot's actions were bad, but his performance as Tighnari was incredible and really sold.
- Don't dislike this trailer because of such unforeseen event in real life, no one knows things would have turned out this way, but this trailer is about Tighnari, a character inside Genshin Impact, not Elliot Gindi the voice actor.

It's gonna be hard for me to move on. We all picture tighnari in his (elliots voice.) It feels like a part of sumeru has been taken away from me as he is my first sumeru 5 star character that I pulled. The character will definitely never be the same to me again. I would never want elliot to be tighnari's va forever, but in reality things are never gonna be the same again. It is just how it is. Hoyoverse will fire him because he tainted the character's and most importantly company's reputation. I don't believe that I'm the only one in a billion players who think like that. I know people are trying to say that tighnari and elliot are different people, and i know that, but it just feels...very sad (unless an evenly good new va for tighnari is found). No matter how we prevent tighnari's reputation from being tainted, it is still inevitable.

I feel bad for what his VA caused to genshin community. I'm a new player but before playing genshin, i came to knew already the issue beforehand (well probably bc of tiktok). So i was like "oh i will not pull tighnari because of the issue" but eventually- in this dehya's banner pulling, i got lost and got him instead of dehya. At first, i was so disappointed and not touching him for a weeks tho he is my second 5 star character but after learning- diving through his stans, i'm just quite fascinated how his fandom was nice, loving and trying to protect him. And i was low ar that time, i came to force to build him with the help of my friend. And i was guilty after knowing that he is so easy and become match unexpectedly to my play style during combat. And after that- because of him (and the windblume festival) i got so much amazing friends, and some of them praising how my tighnari good is. And i'm crying internally because without him, i wouldn't experience this joy and he carried my heavenly journey in the game. I got his C1 last monday, and i never regret any single of it.
He's so precious character, his story, his personality and everything inside him is so wonderful, i really loved him despite of my bad impression at the first encounter; for me...i think it's not too late for loving him and i hope some genshin fans came to realize that tighnari WILL BE NEVER AND NOT HIS VA. His fandom is big and lot of nice people~
To my tighnari, no matter what happen in the future, i might change my main or not- you're the main reason where i'm at, i love you and i will protect you at all cost!❤

It won't help Tartaglia or Mona, but it'll literally be a big buff for Yelan for example, heck even Ayato benefits since he is a hybrid hp scaler, and while I've heard that building hp on Ayato isn't that worth it (dont have him, and never tried to get him since I was after Ayaka), it's still a buff nontheless. thats probably because of the way his personality is presented, he feels very much alive and multidimentional like a real person which i have rarely seen other characters accomplish this well. tighnari is a calm, collected and gentle mentor figure but he is also set on doing his research, in addition to that he has that sass and confidence in him with his side remarks.

I’m absolutely disgusted with Tighnari's EN VA! Elliot is so talented, what an absolute waste it was for him to use that to his advantage!! Tied with his Chinese, he used to be my favourite voice of Tighnari! Now I can barely listen to his voice without feeling slightly ill!
To think that a sassy yet kind-hearted character was voiced by someone so twisted it's unsettling! What's worse was how he used his talent and their adoration for Tighnari to lure in those that are vulnerable, and that's what these predators do!
So if I'm uncomfortable listening to his EN voice, then I can't imagine how that must feel for the victims that had listened to his lines considering what he did! I'm glad Hoyoverse took immediate action and are working to recast Tighnari; to serve justice for the victims and for EN users to enjoy Tighnari again! like the cute sassy botany nerd he is!!
Actor and character are not the same. You'd be surprised the darkness some people hide. Be weary always. But as well, learn to separate art from reality.
