Last year I also had a major Odyssey of getting my XUV700 wrapped. I was even more naive and blind to the pricing of PPF wraps. I called places nearby in Delhi which had good ratings on Google to get estimates and how I was shocked at the prices they were quoting me. There are some pretty large and serious detailing shops in and near Delhi so when I went to some of them I was disheartened to see these places were full of exotics like porsches\ rolls Royce and even superbikes. Finally after a lot of online research and pressure as my car was already 1.5 months old I finally selected detailing Mafia in Noida.They quoted me 2.5 lacs for their best 200 micron 3M self healing 10 year warranty PPF for the whole car. Some of my suggestions are: 1. First I would suggest not to go for anything other than 3M as it is the industry standard and mostly everything else is an imitation,they have the best technology and market share. the product would hold on much longer and better. 2.the most important part is the workmanship and you should see their work before finalizing anything . the black Kia in your video inside the studio was horribly wrapped as it had so many bubbles and wrap was stretched near the pillars. Also in your case as your vehicle is black make sure the wrap has no Orange peel effect as it would be extremely noticeable. One major point that differentiates novice and expert shops is the use of unique pre cut wraps as per your vehicle as compared to using blades manually and shaping the wrap. 3. Also I would suggest you don't go for the full singular wrap package but should match different wraps for different parts. What I finally did was I chose a lower 150 micron wrap for the roof,pillars, boot and the engine lid as they face the lowest chance of scratching or bumping. And chose the 2nd best 200 micron 8yr healing wrap for all the remaining parts that face the most wear and tear. my total came to 130000. The application is extremely fine and perfect. unless you run your finger over the car you won't even know that it's wrapped. Edit: fixing dictation spelling and sorry for the long post.
Hey mayank ! Just out of curiosity is this really necessary for the car? I mean 1.3 is a pretty huge amount. Does it also provide protection from scratches?
@@shufflex8403 no this is not necessary. its just for if you want to keep your vehicle for a long time and want it to look immaculate. this prevents the regular scratches and scrapes that happen due to city driving. just a case of how well you look after your car.
Repainting the whole car after 5-7 years would be even cheaper. 😂 PPF is useless, small accidental damages which are unavoidable in city traffic, will require you to change the ppf applied on that part. Not kidding, seriously, repainting is cheaper

Consider Graphene coating since it is better than regular ceramic coating and cheaper than ppf
