A 1930s sports coupe? In the year of vintage classics, Ford brought something back extraordinary! A truly unique car that makes you feel like you’re living in an age of elegance and refinement. Given the price tag, this is for the discriminating aficionado who knows a beautiful car will appreciate with age, like fine wine. For the car collector, this model is a must-have! 😊
I like it a lot. But I would prefer they had styled it closer to the originals, more elegant and less of a hot rod niche car. I'm skeptical Ford will build these. Chrysler/Plymouth did a retro- styled hot rod back 1990s called the Prowler. I don't think they sold a whole lot ; the hot rod thing is cool but has a limited following. Plymouth's PT Cruiser retro was a sales success, they sold quite well. Anyway I'm glad to see they're thinking outside the box, many of yesteryears' car designs were just too cool not to bring them back. I especially love the cars of the 1930s. Just saying.
Cars can be like buying Furniture, you can have any style or look, French Provincial, Colonial, Modern, etc. So you buy a frame up design with motor and accessories and select from a book of designs, which shape and look pleases you.
This one has almost everything I want I think I have to take both the electric and the motorized version for a ride I'm thinking it's going to be hard to choose so I might have to take a little extra time on both
Yeah I was a kid at the end of ww2 and I remember hot rods well enough. I also remember "three window" Fords. But there's a problem. I count four windows, not three. Care to explain? Front window. Rear window. Two side windows euals four, not three.
The photos are of at least 2 different vehicles none of which looks like what you are describing.they may sell a few thousand of them depending upon what they actually look like.
The people who pu this together couldn’t decide if the doors had hinges on the front or back of the door. Ford would never put something like this out cause it’s an insult to the memory of the coupe. Don’t waste your time viewing the whole clip.
If you look closely you will see a number of different versions of a car here. Different wheels, different fenders, different side decoration, different side mirrors, and interiors from a few different cars. All but one has standard door handles and not the flush mounted ones mentioned. Any of the cars shown would look right at home at a Rod and Custom Car Show, but not on the street as an every day driver. Pretty pictures but would not be a successful product.
Just not seeing all the wonderful features in your video. For example talking about the integrated digital instruments and 15 inch touch screen. Meanwhile the video shows an all analogue instrument panel, and no touch screen, in it's place is a single speaker, and I guess no surround premium sound system. Also you need to go back and re-edit as some of your footage is shown backwards.
I seriously doubt it. Also, if they crank out this concept, it'll be watered down to look like so many doofus/nerd mobiles. The engineering will be junk like so many vehicles today. To be fair, I'll give a 1% chance it'll happen like the Prowler which was a bit of a dud. It did look cool except for the dorky front bumpers. Also, with all the mandatory "safety" equipment, it'll look like a bubble-wrapped shoe box. I just heard the guy say "all electric". There are 1,000s of those brand new cars gathering dust.
Right! Chrysler tried the prowler and other reiterations of successes. This is rubbish and will probably never see the light of day, which is just as well.
@@johnhartley3022 They are a perfectly good car that has been totally destroyed so someone can "customize it and make it be another ugly copy of a Billion other destroyed cars. Take half of the car off of it. Check. Mess up the lights on it that were place in the only place where t hey should be. Check. Put the wrong engine in it. And don't give the crap that The LS is the only good engine on the planet. that only means you can't build anything else. Do too much to the whole car or not enough to make it look decent. Check. Chrome the crap out of it or just the motor that has at least five unnecessary levels on it. Check. ANd regardless to what you do to it, you put the ugliest possible wheels on it. This is off the top of my head, and if you want to see real customs, go look at some Bombs, That seen dresses up/customizes their cars the right way.
@ for the over the top rat rod, which i can only imagine from your description we’d be in agreement. The ones in my neck of the woods have maybe a chop top, slammed a bit, one i think has been channeled, still running a flathead and original wheels, pretty much a solid old driver with serious patina and some street rod character…….thats what i think of when i think of a rat rod. And I think they’re pretty cool

I love that car❤❤❤❤❤❤

Nice art work.
Thank you!
I will buy one of these Fords, V8 - No Electric
Love these ideas !! How about a 1939-40 Mercury Coupe ,, say with Streamline Modern ideas, thanks Steve
Awesome
AMAZING

This clickbait is a joke and all pictures are AI assisted computer renderings. Don't expect to see anything like this at your Ford dealer.🤧
I’m so sick of these idiots with AI!
Thank you Captain Obvious
That would be a terrific car if they really built it.

Wow!
If my ship comes in I'm going to buy both in the deluxe
Sustainable
Whoa !
Yep that’s a car give me the one that has a blown motor and right hand drive for us in Australia 💪🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺👍
Does any of them come with a manual transmission?
Talk about fake news 😑

Someone must have the specs , on this car.?? cost etc, Bill
Cool car, but where is the V8?
MAKE THEM ALL WHEEL DRIVE, I 'LL TAKE..NOW
Can this car available with the 7. 3 SC Godzilla engine, .??
Nice, Ford is getting smarter for designing something this classic, like their original 3 window. Don't think much of the bumpers though.
looks like a prowler
Front end looks like a '37 Fiat Topolino .
Definitely the eco boost !
Plymouth prowler did it 25 years ago and it’s still desirable unit
Yeah, it's more desirable now than it was then! The Prowler was not a successful model in terms of sales. LOL

Front window. Rear window. Two side windows euals four, not three.
The front window is typically not counted. The 5 window 32 Ford had 2 extra, little, windows in back.
three window or five window, you don't count the windshield as a window.
There is more than one design here
The photos are of at least 2 different vehicles none of which looks like what you are describing.they may sell a few thousand of them depending upon what they actually look like.
How come it's got a split windscreen from the inside with rear side windows and quarter windows in the front doors 🤔
The people who pu this together couldn’t decide if the doors had hinges on the front or back of the door. Ford would never put something like this out cause it’s an insult to the memory of the coupe. Don’t waste your time viewing the whole clip.
Goes with American nostalgia……when we were great. If you can’t beat China lock back and reminisce
Dealers greed will kill that car first year! This will not be the first time!!
No eco-boost. Forget it.
No one in the world could could afford this car besides that it’s not gonna be in production quit blowing smoke up everybody’s butt
How much
$62,000 for the top of the line model! If money is no object, a budget for the ultimate dream car is beside the point!
They can't even get The Bronco right. Nice looking with a million problems
He'll yea

Count me in on the Eco Boost version. I'm not a fan of EV's.
It says "Reimagined" plain as day. Return to school for some remedial tutoring.

insane description ,,,,,,no three window coupe shown.....front fenders floating will never go ten miles.....Get Real....Bad data...
seems like clickbait
Ai or not I’ll take one
Oh wow. A PT Cruiser redux. The Ecoboost has a terrible record of reliability issues.
You show two, distinctly Different autos. So, um 'which one?' Also, why the Leaf springs up-front? Did we suddenly Go Back 100 years? CLICK BAIT!
Right! Chrysler tried the prowler and other reiterations of successes. This is rubbish and will probably never see the light of day, which is just as well.
Viper take off. Never happen.
Gag a maggot, looks like a cicada.
Total BS.
Right hand wheel in America?!
Clickbait Lies.
My 1928 ford model A is 96 this year. How many years could that last?
Looks like crap ! They are not building these rental cars like they're claiming.
BD
It's ugly 😂😂😂😂😂 and it'll be to expensive for 90% of buyers
Witurbforme
This is a fail, it is uglier than a Prowler, I would expect to see a Chevy engine in it, and it looks more effed up than a raat-rod.
Hey!? Whats wrong with rat rods?

All electric.
