I bought them for my students of English, some of them helped me. Children from 8 to 17 years old like to read them for sure. I usually tell them that grammar is not as important as they think. I tell them that I also make some mistakes, but it's much easier for me to speak in English than my friends, who used to study grammar hard. Those languages that I've learnt mostly grammatically were kind of difficult to speak. The most important thing is that students LIKE stories. They use their imagination and without memorizing rules, English comes deeper and faster to their brains. I wish I could read more like these Graded Readers stories when I was a student. I could've learnt better and faster.

@@ReadingEnglishMatters But why "graded readers" sometimes is not similar to standard grammar :( How can learners understand stuff like that :(

      2. They have food, they have warm clothes, they have beautiful houses.
      3. After that, I fainted, and saw and heard nothing for a long while.
      4. It's a very big house, old and dark, with a high wall all around it.
      5. He is a young man, big, strong, and a good worker.
I've never seen sentences like those in grammar books :|

@@ReadingEnglishMatters These sentences come from low level. In stage 3, 4 there are so so many :)
