- My Hungarian Parents` First Full Day in the Philippines and First reaction to life in the province! We toured them in our familiar areas and brought them to the local public market. They didn`t even know where to look as all the products, fruits, vegetables were new to them! This was their honest opinion of the market!
We also tried some food together and they met more of our relatives for the first time!

Welcome to your beloved parents... you can bring your parents also in Baler, Aurora or in Dingalan from Cabanatuan.. there are beaches there and beautiful places to see..hoping they will enjoy their Philippine visit..
Yes that's true the fruits of the Philippines are so delicious and it's good that your parents visited our country especially your place and your situation.
Hope that they'll come back soon and next time experience as well the boracay and Palawan especially Davao where you'll find different fruits during the month of April and May

It's a nice feeling to have your parents with you in your adopted country. That way they will feel confident about your situation here when they go back to Hungary.
I guess the biggest adjustment is the weather and the food for Susie's parents. But, it's also exciting for them to visit nice beaches and taste the local cuisine.
They really love the heat tho as its cold right now in Hungary! 😊

I:m glad to see your parents enjoying every moment of their stay in the Philippines, i suggest that you bring them to El Nido, Bohol, Boracay, Baguio and of course the city life in BGC ( bonifacio high street, venice canal, uptown) Makati ( greenbelt park) in Manila ( Fort Santiago & Intramuuros) and also the Mall of Asia

Sussie, if you want sweet mango don't choose pointed tip one. Round tip mangoes are sweetest with hard yellow color to almost orange.

finally your folks are here! from the pandemic lockdown till they arrived must be a dream for you😊 i hope they enjoy this country and probably make staying in this country an option for them. since you are now a Filipino Citizen, you may have the option of applying citizenship for your parents. the Philippines allows dual citizenship. i know how it feels to stay in a foreign country and introduce the culture, food and places to family and friends who visit…

Sussie bring your parents to baguio, your first destination. Bring them to night market. I just hope it was not affected by market fire just recently. Maraming tourist attraction doon. Then beaches in la union and even in pangasinan. Your parents are very much welcome to the philippines. Mabuhay!

It's the same mango we get here in the u.s. It is red and green instead of yellow, also not that sweet compared to the Philippine mango. Palengke is such a Philippine vibe. I don't know why the Caimito vendor was laughing when weighing the Caimito (star apple). Your parents are so sweet. They still hold hands. How old is your favorite lola? Salty duck egg (red egg) good with rice.
