Preach 🙌🏾🙌🏾 Having Groupon was absolutely the WORST mistake I made as a spa owner! I’m sure to tell all new business owners not to do it! Clients were super entitled and they sent harsh reviews for no reason. They’re looking for reasons to complain about your business. It was a fast way to bring in clients, but those clients are not yours. They will not come back since they’re always looking for the next best deal. Get you clients by advertising organically, word of mouth, and patience. Have faith ❤ if you’re an honest, hard worker providing excellent services, your business will surely grow!! Blessings to all of you for growth and success.

Yes one person did that to me as well. Its so crazy . I finally was able to get the merchant account back open to see what was the deal after a week of emailing them. I now am paused because closing/deleting was a pain. I couldn't believe it.

There are people who get a bit too needy and want to drain me with their problems wanting me to be their therapist. No one has time for that!

I just canceled my Groupon campaign last week. They will fill your schedule. Most groupon clients only want a deal and wont rebook regular price. Groupon pays biweekley. The rep that signed me up did not tell me they would run an additional discount on top of the amount we agreed upon. I didnt find that out until the did a payment adjustment on my payments. Its is in the small fine print. Be sure to read that. It was a lesson learned though.

Hi I am using Groupon merchant services. I m not happy with it. I provide the best I could though it feels like it's not worth my time since on top of giving out 50 percent discounts , they also take 45 percent in merchant fees. Can you please suggest some good platform to grow business please. I have a small pest control business.
I would look at neighbor hood apps like nextdoor for advertising
and also go around to new developments (new homes) they usually offer pest control to the home owners it would be a great move to get in there welcome packets.
@@tanzzyi6198 okay I tried leaving business cards and talking to clients but it's still very hard to get business from them.
@@coolgoy212 have you set up a website? You might need to run heavy on advertising. If you don’t have a website perhaps hiring someone to do SEO so that when someone in your area looks for pest control you pop up.

I’m so messed up on that Site I’m so mad I deleted my merchant account and my dds are still active on google under my business and People are actually able to buy a service and this is really causing a lot of confusion so when they call me I tell them I’m not on Groupon but for now I will honor the discount price but through me on my website. I emailed called and they said you need to honor the purchase price I said I’ve deleted account and still no response. This is. Night mare and I’m losing money

Yes I finally got access to reopen it to see what’s going on after sending an email that showed I was very upset. It’s been interesting
@@tanzzyi6198 Finally was able to have them reopen and now I have my adds paused. Deleting account was a big joke so I had to just pause for now.
groupon charges outrages fees to merchants.
They charge you like 45 percent. Please be aware of that.
You need to get paid regardless. I’m a Groupon person. I do look for the best deal if I like the place I will go back if not I will never go back I never give bad reviews…. I don’t agree with you saying people are cheap. Its way to save money.
