I have a funny story... So back in like 83 there was this guy in town who drove around with what I thought was his name spray painted on his car...really nice and funny guy .. I was like 7 yrs old and saw this guy pick my mom up for a date... Well the next morning momma wasn't home and my brother with a teenage neighbor was like where's mom and I'm like she's out with Bob Seger... He's like WTH you talking about... I'm like yeah I saw him here at the house picking momma up His car was right here in the driveway....See i thought that was his name bc he had that name written on his car ... But it took a while to figure it out so the rumor for awhile was my mom dated Bob Seger... Funny small town liberty Indiana
I do not think I have ever heard this song....and I really loved it. Bob has always been one of my favorite singers. He truly has a catalog of wonderful songs...and you can really not go wrong listening to any of them.
For the love of Bob, can he finally get to receive not only the Grammy Awards Lifetime Achievement Award but also the Kennedy Award he so richly deserves. Bob and his beautiful band have not only etched their music into the lives of millions and leaving their mark ingrained in time and music history. This is young Bob Seger, even though Back in '72 was his sixth album. He had an extensive career before he hit it big with Live Bullet in the mid-70's. If you like the raw sound of early Seger, check out Looking Back, Heavy Music and Rosalie. Just fantastic.
I saw Bob Seger in Louisville Kentucky back in 75' when he opened for KISS and blew them off the stage ! I later saw him twice at the Derby Eve Jam with The Atlanta Rythm section with probably the best Bass player I ever heard Paul Goddard he did a Bass solo that is UNMATCHED . If you look Hard enough you can find it on the net and IT IS WORTH IT ! Gof bless him he's gone now and ended his life's work as a College English Teacher . But seeing Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band back then was TREMENDOUSE ! PK

This is IMO the *real* Bob…no matter how much Bob and Punch Andrews try to bury it. The reason that the guitar is *so* good is because Bob is being backed by the famous Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section (from Muscle Shoals AL, where this was recorded), consisting of… Pete Carr, lead guitar Jimmy Johnson, rhythm guitar David Hood, bass Keep going, please! I've given you literally *dozens* of suggestions from those first seven albums, but let me boil it down to just two, from the two ends of this period: "2+2=?" from the first album, when he was part of The Bob Seger System, with the BIG sound and "Twenty Years from Now", from his seventh album, "Seven", which is simply brilliant. *HAPPY NEW YEAR, JAY!!* (PS, if we get some 1972-era Fleetwood Mac while you're feeling generous, I surely won't complain either.)
Seger always put on a great show; my first concert was seeing him and his band during their Night Moves tour. It was fabulous. Suggestion, if you can find clips, Jude Cole Start the Car, for some early 1990's music.

Another of my faves is his version if Tina Turner's Nutbush City Limits from Seger's Live Bullet double album. In my opinion Best live album ever!! ❤❤❤

Live Bullet was their best album, IMO.
The Live Bullet Live Album is one of the very best live albums by anyone, period.
The other live album "Nine Tonight" is great also with Brave Strangers, Tryin' To Live My Life Without You, and the title cut.
