    Really like your reviews...your editing skills and consistency with methods are superior. Just received my Cheetah couple days ago and got in a good ride today. You are spot on that this model is for a bigger person, I am such at 6"2, 300 lbs and had some extra weight in rear rack bag with lock, water, lunch, tools. Got about 33 miles out of the single 48V/16AH battery using various levels of pedal assistance pretty much the entire way of a largely flat run along the Mississippi River (Alton to Grafton, IL). About 3 of those 33 were not planned and offroad as I found a wildlife reserve access "road", otherwise it was paved. Too bad I needed 34 miles as I failed to factor in headwind coming back...rookie mistake, plus I pushed it with the offroad detour. That last mile into wind was rough with no juice left.. Smooth ride, heavy, powerful, fun!

    Hello My Friend! I subscribed to your channel just a couple of weeks ago. I'm very impressed with all your testing techniques and the way you travel the same paths for every E-Bikes. I've watched many, many videos of people testing these bikes and you are 100 times better than all of the others I've watched!! I love the way you show everything from opening the box to Hill climbing to beach sand and many other places you travel!!! You have really helped me on deciding which bike to purchased in the near future. Keep up the great work you are doing and don't change a thing! From Alabama, Thank You!!!

    Well this has certainly been an interesting watch TailHappy!! A full suspension ebike with fenders and a back rack for $1799.00?? Now that seems quite impressive indeed. But I was expecting to hear that the weight of this Cheetah was over 90 pounds, not under. As I have heard other reviewers speak negatively regarding the extra weight associated with a typical soft-tail suspension frame. Not sure why though. Unless they normally ride people-powered bicycles. Either way, I just hit the LIKE button, and clicked that SUBSCRIBE button. Thanks for your time'n effort!!!

    One battery is working for most of the time, because if one battery gets to a higher voltage than the other, the higher volts would pour into the other battery that is lower, unless a diode blocks one battery ‘charging’ the other instead of providing motor power. So each battery has a diode, that is a one way voltage flow control.

      @TailHappyTV  ปีที่แล้ว +11

      correct, perhaps I made a error in my speech at some point in this video? more battery means more watt-hours total, which will actually help keep the voltage higher for longer (but not more total voltage)

    Excellent review, so no Torque sensing I assume as you mention the cadence sensor a couple of times. Looks like 2 piston brakes, not 4 piston, correct? Your road testing was excellent, great job! It's a great deal for a dual battery, full suspension eBike. Not sure about the hub motor as I have a mid-drive now and use the gears consistently. I'm not sure how the gears will work with a Hub drive motor.

    Good through review. One of the few I don't feel is outright BSing.
    This bike is not bad w/the coupon price. Without it it's 'upper run of the mill' for a rating(yea I just made my own rating system) in my experienced opinion. But I'd say someone did well if they bought this for 1700. For that if you get a real 750w sustained, full suspension and hydro breaks and 25wh of battery that's not shit by any means.

    Thanks for the detailed review. I too am tall at 6'4" so I was wondering about the seat height. I am comparing this bike to the Addmotor p-550. Seat height and range are big considerations for me as I am planning to commute from Buena Vista, CO where I live to Salida, CO where I work, a couple of times a week, and want to make sure it can make the 28-mile trip 800-foot descent to work 800-foot ascent returning home. Gradual each way. Your review has me leaning toward the Haoki. I was told that the proper Asain pronunciation is Hi-Key. Thanks again!

      I have not tried the Freedom yet, but the suspension on this bike felt great compared to most bikes I’ve reviewed under $2k. I think the way the rear suspension pivots the way it does contributes a lot to the mechanical leverage.

    Just wanted to know if anyone knows what kind of lubricant is needed for the front forks. When should it be serviced. And where can I access this to fill it if needed ? I owned the Cheetah for one year this month. But I was curious if anyone had any information on this.
    My other issue is. The front led light. It's connected. But not sure if it's working. I can see from pressing the button to activate it appears on the display. The rear brake light works. But the front for some reason doesn't.

    Nice honest review. This is how they all should be. I'm not saying that they are all dishonest but the reviews that are done by the company that makes the bikes usually aren't as they are usually very misleading when it comes to range. If you want to know the true colors you have to go to the reviews that are honest and there are some out there. This guy's good and citizen cycles is another one. There are a few. The bikes you have to stay away from are the ones that you don't see reviews on by these guys that are honest. A lot of reviews you see on company website's are total bullshit. I think they write their own just from my own personal experiences. Anyway, good review man.

    That electric bike is amazing for the price because of its huge watt hours capacity. Over 1,200 watt hours if you buy the bike for $2k. There’s a good electric bike I know of that’s slightly cheaper at $1,899 but it only provides 1,040 watt hours and that’s Magicyle Cruiser Pro. I say HAOQI Cheetah is a better bang for the bucks than the Magicycle. Quite hard to beat HAOQI Cheetah at its given price point.

    I ordered a Cheetah on 8/1/23. Today is two weeks later, 8/15/23, and Haoqi hasn't shipped it. I've emailed them a handful of times, and they keep promising to ship it, but they have broken that commitment on at least three different days, the last being on 8/13. I emailed them that morning for an update. The next day they emailed me to say they'd ship it "within this week." If they don't, I'll probably cancel the order and order a Cyrusher Montta or a Freesky Wild Cat instead even though their batteries are rated at lower WH. Clearly Haoqi didn't have this bike in stock when I ordered it, and unlike companies with more integrity (like Wired, for instance) they didn't add that essential fact to their ordering page. That's not honest.

    You need two motors for sand or grass riding. Two batteries means half current in each battery and its wiring. Energy lossess are going with square of current, but there is internal resistance and VOLTAGE SAG .
    So combining batteries you can have voltage increase few volts at full power.
    You loose on diodes combining bats 0.3 to 0.5V depend on load but sag reduced 1 to 3V plus reduction of voltage drops on contact s and cabling.
    Could be up to 5V reduction in drop of voltage with 2 bats plus reduction of heat.
    For 750W motor not so critical to have 2 bats.
    Mid drive 1000W or 2 x 750W bikes it is critical to have 2 bats.
    On flat you ride 100W to 400W what is 15% of mid drive motor very ineficient , bats ok .
    Eficiency low and there are lossess on the chain.
    With 2 bats you will get much better performance of mid drive longer run on higher power.
    One bat 20-28km/h 2 bats 25-35km/h for few hours with avg speed rised 5+km/h ( includes stops) what is huge difference for ebike.
    At higher power 500W plus 25-35km/h ride MOTOR MUCH MORE EFFICIENT , IN CASE ONE BAT , BAT INEFICIENT SAGGING AND HEATTING UP. SO WITH 2 BATS MUCH LESS SAGGING AND HEATTING INTERNALLY LONGER LIFE AND HAPPY BAT.
    1000W with 1500W peak can take 30A+ discharge from single bat which is recommended to be charged with 2A and max 3A?????
    Do we really want 30+A discharge rate can that cause fast aging or maybe fire and explosion.
    Realy should no go more than 10A over very short time keep 6A or less for continuos ride.
    Life is about economy and efficiency, beach sand offroad riding is expensive.
    750W peak 1200W can be 15 to 25A still 2 bats can help at powers over 600W , 6A each bat. Probably good healty discharge up to 6A.
    Over 10A to go on longer time not very good buildup of heat dropping performance of bats.
    When I had one bat on mid drive 1000W was underperfoming 15 to 20%, when put 2 bats become 95+% what I expected before bought it, still issue with torque sensor power control not efficient as 750W hub motor with pas fixed to speeds. Cannot run fast over hill must put serious effort when hub can go easier just with fast pedalling low press.

      If there's no problems with manufacturing/design (this goes for all commercial ebikes) then the electrics on your bike will be able to withstand all the natural elements that the skies throw at it. But you must avoid submerging any of it, And don't use a power hose when cleaning. If rain is at prolonged monsoon level, Try not to leave your bike sat in the open! lol

      that's a tough question to answer because it really just depends on what you want out of your ride.
      I still think the Nomad 1 from velotric is one of the best fat tire ebikes out there all around considering hill climbing, comfort, weight, range. But it doesn't have full suspension or dual batteries like the Haoqi. Nomad 1 review on my channel: th-cam.com/video/11BSjoJ0VZo/w-d-xo.html

    throttle should work in PA 0. PA isnt the safest thing for certain circumstances like offroad and around crowds. also there are times when a rider may need to get away from a robber, traffic, dog etc.
    whiskey throttling is far lesss of a concern than whiskey pedaling and not being able to throttle away from danger.

    • @TailHappyTV
      @TailHappyTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Good point, it def is a trade off there on throttle active on all modes or not. One bike I reviewed had a button for the throttle right next to the throttle

    • @TailHappyTV
      @TailHappyTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes there is a reason, better filming angle😆. I mention it in some videos, but if I have the seat high up it tends to point the camera down more, which is better for riding but worse for the viewer

    Turnbike on, within 5 seconds. Press the brake five times exactly and then hold up and down for 45 seconds. This will open the advanced menu. Once you do this cheat code once you can simply just press up and down for 15 seconds to open the menu anytime after

    2 thousand dollars and you get 1 single 2 amp charger?
    I wouldn't touch this brand. That is awful decision making. They have the nerve to charge 2 grand, brag about battery size and the fact you get 2z and then give the cheapest possible recharging method.

    My honest review of Haoqi is not a good one considering they have refused to honor their warranty. I paid $2000 dollars for the dual battery cheetah back in Jan 2023 and it’s had some issues from day one. They sent me a controller panel, assembly cable and a throttle cable and the motor still won’t power one. They have no bike shops in the USA that will trouble electricity issues on their bikes. I’ve sent them videos proving the bike is still not functioning properly and they just keep wanting to sent me parts. This is ridiculous. You’ve been warned if you buy a bike from this company they will not honor their warranty

    I have a $5,100. E-CELLS Super Monarch Crown 2 wheel drive, 2 battery and dual suspension mountain bike and yeah, 95 firkin''pounds but hey, that'swhat it takes to have a hunting bike that will take you into the back country with a 400 pound load capacity for hauling you and boned out elk meat back to your camp.
    Compare the features and quality of these two bikes. The E-CELLS will win.

      Especially if you get(and you should)have Tanus wheel liners. Not sure if you've tried them man but I did not expect to have them make the ride that damned soft. I thought, yea some mention it helps but that and not maxing out your tire pressure like many do is like poor man's full suspension. Haha. I got an open box set for my 26x4 tires for 73 bucks. Next to inserting a couple GPS pods in by bike it's the best money I spent on it.
