Marshalls mum is now a Councillor in New Castle. She's a real community champion
you don’t say!?
@delroymunashe3487 some ppl might not of know so stfu
This brings me back to my own childhood. Coming from a country the size of a pea that never felt cold to being in America (NY) in the beginning of winter feeling so scared and tiny in such a vast place, to this day still feeling like an outsider but it gets easier. These kids adapted so quickly and I pray their futures are bright
Kids are amazing, they just make it work somehow...a bit different with adults
Where are these children now that they are in their 30’s? It would be interesting to know if those bright shiny hopeful faces are still happy. I hope so!

@nyariclaire thanks for this tip bit because I too was wondering what became of them😊😊
2005 was not thirty years ago

Marshall’s big sister is great, a bridge between mum and Marshall. Where is the big sister now? What became of her and little Mitchell ?
If this was posted before I’ve never seen it so thanks for reposting.
Marshall seems like he’s so much fun.The parents should start speaking English in the homes to the children so that they can be able to grasp the language a bit.
Wishing them all the best.
am just thrilled to think that I saw Marshal, Mitchel and Meme and they are such grown up and amazing ...so amazing

I get what you’re trying to say, but the other 2 children speak 2 languages too… 😊
Most Africans speak more than 3 languages fluently, it's a very good thing.
@@NyaweCyclingWhich they will need translators to communicate with people with those languages
Looks like I found a film updating on Marshall, Imran and Althanyai in "Real Families: Growing up in a New Culture" they are on the thumbnail and are older.
Thank you
That made me so emotional, it looks like it was done 2005 just by tshirt of the teacher. I just wonder what they are at now?

I like the two little girls more specifically the one teaching the other one English she's so cute
I pray that all of the children are well taken care of and are happy and safe and healthy and being educated well and feeling loved 🥰
Marshall weldone our boy so vibrant😅
This is beautiful . The world belongs to everybody and everyone is free to travel legally and enjoy life wherever . Every country codependent on the resources of the other country for our universal growth in strength
That's BS we are not the same gtfoh this all about the replacement of whites and produced by Jews
No it doesn't we are not the same
No, our individual cultures and traditions etc is what makes us so interesting and special. You remove borders and eventually all is lost. Plus we have different value systems. You must give them up when moving to your new home country and respect theirs or eventually civil war breaks out. Look at the UK, Germany, France, Italy etc. The people have had it with migrants and it’s getting scary. Many need to go back home as they are trying to turn their new homes into what they fled.
Clever Marshal
I need an update on how Imran is doing . I hope he has integrated well and he is getting on well with his education. He looks like he has leadership qualities bless all the kids . ❤
Marshall is so cute
The Zimbabwean boy jumped straight in to English lol
English is one of the official languages of Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwean schools teach in English
Because British was thier masters before President Mugabe chase them out of the Zimbabwe. But the language remains. 😅😅

It’s probably arranged marriage.

Zimbabwean that speaking good English
Most Africans are multilingual Remember our ancestors were forced to learn English, French, Afrikaans. Africans also speak multiple native languages
English is the second official language in Zimbabwe
English is the language used in schools in Zimbabwe. Most if not all Zimbabweans that went to school can speak the language fluently.

Imran grew up to have third-world Pakistani values. Saw a later episode in the series where he said he wanted to be an Islamic fighter and was going to marry his cousin. The other kids grew up to have British values but he didn't. Proof that people from Pakistan do not assimilate just create their own communities within the UK. The other families assimilated with the local community.
well, as a fellow Zimbabwean, i will speak for Marshall, he is from Zimbabwe, which only got independence a little over 45 years ago, naturally he was bound to go that way, because, i guarantee you, England has so much effect on Zimbabweans because the institutions and systems in place are similar in so many levels to that of england..

It's called reparations you dweeb🙄. Maybe your ancestors should have kept their pasty arsed selves in England all those years ago.
Why don't you then no ones stopping you.
I always have subtitles on and I can’t believe what I just saw. 2.53 and it says he lives in a terorist house .
The spelling was wrong. The narrator was saying that he would be living in a “terrace house.” Terrace homes are homes that are connected, like a row of houses.
Rest assured that he is not living with terrorists! 😅
I live in the uk so I know what terrace houses are I was just shocked subtitles could get it so wrong 😂
@@kellylavender7440 - Yes, I agree! When I read that, I thought oh my, maybe he should have stayed with grandma! 🤣

How come theres never Coloured/mixed children involved in such programmes
As in mixed race? Or cape coloured? Because all of these children are people of colour. So you mean cape coloured children or who do you mean? Usually mixed race children in Britain have one British parent right? So they wouldn’t usually be immigrating to the UK. If you mean cape coloured then maybe it’s not alot of them moving to the UK.
Are you blind
@@Hopdog230true we not many coloured ppl over here and our kids are coloured but they see them as mixed but i put ppl in their place and say no..his coloured we a nation. We have a culture a language pls don't confuse my kid
@@Hopdog230God did not create race/races, He created the human race, we are children of Adam and Eve, we are so ignorant when we say race.
@Hopdog230 coloured/mixed are people born from Bkack mixed with white, Indian, Arab, infact united nations this group of people are termed with s many names depending which country they r from, they are In Zimbabwe nd south Africa Coloured, in Nigeria Halfcaste, in USA Biaracial, in Western they r mixed race, in South America Brazil Molatos , in India Siddis etc etc infact children of United Nations Mix all the way down from Slavery these children were born nd later some married Black some married other so depending who they mixed with their offspring got lighter skin or darker skin. I feel people suddenly choose to be naive anytime this subject arises.
Scholarship programmes etc these groups of people are always left out Just wondered Why?.
Who is telling these children that they should leave their home and families to come to a far away land that has no cultural significance? Why is there a camera crew along for the ride? Who is paying for this? Can't even afford the NHS. An all around shame.
