    I've watched so many knit and crochet influencer videos on how to make fingerless hand warmers but this video is the BEST one so far. it is easy to follow and uncomplicated in its fabrication. thank you so so much @aworkofcraft!

    Lovely pattern and for an interesting look I turned it inside out at the end 🙂 it stripes! My son-in-law wants a patch sewn on the palm for driving... working on that possibly leather? Swede? Fabric? I'm up for the challenge! Thank you for the pattern ❤

    Hi, I enjoyed your tutorial, could you tell me how many chains you need to do a men's pair of fingerless gloves? Thanks...

    • @aworkofcraft
      @aworkofcraft  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It depends how big his hands are. For a man's I would try chaining 27 or 29, but measure after the first row.

    Getting ready to start a pair. Q: can I chain 2 at the beginning of my row instead of chain 1? For a half double c I usually chain 2 for the row height.. Also, can I insert my hook in the back loop only for my stitches to get a "ribbed effect"? Thanks 😊

    • @aworkofcraft
      @aworkofcraft  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Normally yes, and if you feel comfortable do it, I did it this way so its tighter.

      Just add a few more, maybe 5. You will have to measure.

    I’m planning on using your pattern but stopping at the wrist; so I’m planning to just make arm warmers. Would this pattern still work for that?

  • @emelydr

    When you were making the thumb hole, you did slip stitch on the 1st 5 st then turn it around but you did not do a slip stitch on the other 5 stitches. Did I miss is it not needed?

    • @aworkofcraft
      @aworkofcraft  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not needed. I only did it to move to that point.

  • @storybookweather7008
    @storybookweather7008 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    you already had 2 rows when it says to continue for the next 10 rows, but then you only do 10 rows total before the increase, so it seems as though you mean 12 rows, but you don't. This got confusing for me, I had to pause it and count when it was on your wrist.

    • @aworkofcraft
      @aworkofcraft  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's for a total of 10 rows.

      @@aworkofcraft yeah I got that, as I explained in my post, but it wasn't clear at first in the video.

      @TammyPesson-e5d 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aworkofcraft so it's 10 rows from the beginning of the gloves or 10 rows after the 1st 2 rows. I'm not sure because it says the next 10 rows where as you had already worked 2 rows?

    • @aworkofcraft
      @aworkofcraft  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, but you will have to increase, as the arm gets a little wider at the elbow.

    • @aworkofcraft

      It is an easy mistake. You are probably going into the first stitch after your chain one. It is the second one you need to go into. 3:15 in the video
