Mandalorian took the whole "Show, Don't Tell" to it's maximum potential. It won't be long until you can look at Mando with his helmet on and figure out exactly what he is thinking and about to do with zero dialogue. It's beautiful like that.

The disintegration gun that Mando has was banned by the emperor during the rein of the empire, it’s one of the most dangerous hand held weapons in the galaxy. Glad you liked the episode. Season 2 is my personal favorite and I think you’ll agree when you get there
Fun fact. The series is not even filmed on a set, the whole "set" around them is a giant panoramic screen they use to make digital worlds using the Unreal engine. Hence it looks so real and amazing! Cutting-edge tech.

In Empire Strikes Back Vader singled out Boba among the bounty hunters they called and told him “no disintegrations” Theiving ass jawas Even when they were around, the average galactic citizen never saw a jedi. There was around 10k of them at their height, in a galaxy of trillions. And they didn’t exactly go around showing off and promoting themselves. Naturally even less people are gonna know or believe when they’re all dead, and the Emperor havibg lot of knowledge and history about them erased or hidden from the public, even with Luke training a new generation, which was only a small amount.
The Mandalorian surprised people because Star Wars had been producing such shoddy product and Kennedy didn’t have much involvement in the first seasons of the Favreau and Filoni production. I don’t know how the new season is going to end up. I have not enjoyed the other new live action series and think they really broke canon.

Man, Yoda‘s age and experience together really tell you that the Child is going to go through one HELLUVA growth spurt, and likely very soon. Yoda was 900 years old, and had been training Jedi for 800. So at twice his baby age, and 1/9th of the way through his life, he had become a mature adult, been a youngling, a Padawan, a Knight, and become a Master. All at twice the age the Child is now. Imagine a two year old human, then by the time they’re four, they’re college professors with the equivalent of 30 years in the profession they’re teaching. 😆
One reasonI I love the show is that it leans into the stories and genres that helped inspire Star Wars to begin with. Initially The Mandalorian was built up as a Star Wars homage to Sergio Leone’s spaghetti westerns that were among George Lucas’ influences for Star Wars. Mando and Boba Fett both take inspiration from Clint Eastwood’s Man With No Name (“The Good” from The Good The Bad and The Ugly) and Cad Bane was inspired by Lee Van Cleef’s Angel Eyes (“The Bad”) While the first episode and the rest of the show keep up the spaghetti western homages, Baby Yoda’s introduction bring to mind Japanese samurai stories, specifically “Lone Wolf and Cub” about a lone samurai that escorts and protects a young baby. There will be more allusions and homages to samurai and Westerns moving forward, can’t wait for you to see them! I have spoken 🙂

The "Female Yoda" was Master Yaddle and she only appeared in Episode 1. The reason I came across why she didn't reappear in the following movies is rather mundane: In the Original 1999-Theatrical cut of Ep.I Yoda was still realized with a puppet, like he was in the Original Movies. Starting with Ep.II, they switched to CGI (for the DVD-release that change was extended to Ep.I as well) and appearantly it was so difficult to get the CGI for Yoda right that they didn't want to do it a second time, so they cut Yaddle out. In-universe, she died between movies.
I work at a library and one of the books we have is all about the artwork of The Mandalorian. I flipped through it a few times and it is so cool! When you finish the show, I think you would like it.
The music for this show is written by Ludwig Göransson, he previously did both „Creed“-movies, the first „Venom“ and won an Academy Award for „Black Panther“

Mando’s weapon is the same type of weapon the empire used to clear Zeb’s homeworld in Rebels. You can see why Zeb was so afraid of them at the start of the series.

Plasticish head and hands, softbody (no legs), eyes look so real. Where as some of the rip off versions have eyes that make him seem creepy instead.
I think the rifle he has is the one that comes up in Rebels, the one that the Empire used to exterminate the Lasat and obviously the ESB connection others have pointed out already. Get used to the 'side-mission' feeling, if I've heard 1 complaint about this show it's that. I think there all great though, if our main plot isn't directly being advanced it gives time for character development. Mando is a completely new character and so they have taken the time to flesh that character out a bit and establish sort of his role in the Greater Universe and what not. Also, Kuiil is and AMAZING character, I have spoken. >XD
