I am SOOOOO jealous right now. Peaches are my favorite summer fruit and I am so often disappointed in what I can get. Those look wonderful ... A suggestion: next time you do this peach bake thing, add a little cinnamon. You're welcome.

I had the opposite. My cherries and peaches made so many this year, when last year I only got a couple pounds of peaches and two cherries. The trees take rests some years to recoup.

@@Neenerella333 Thank you for that tidbit. These are all in their first full summer in the ground. We had a wild winter here in SoCal- too many high highs and low lows in temps. And with 25 highly unusual inches of rain, I was able to forgo irrigation. Santa Rosa plums and blackberries are about to explode on the scene! Happy growing!

I'm almost sure Kevin will just need to get used to giving away peaches cause it's so hard to keep on top of it. I grew up in Central California and we had neighbors with peach trees and it was out of control (in a good way) how big and how much peach they got. They would always give them away and kids were allowed to harvest as much as they wanted.

Got nectarines in, adding peaches and plums this year hopefully (bare roots in soon here in Aus). I desperately want my own home grown peach to try out the tip Iearn from the show 'The Great' where you bite into the peach, tilt your head back, and feel the peach juice roll down your throat. Sounds divine.

What is the chance that the large Peach Tree now because of the amazing growth has over taken the nectarine next to it (the failed scabbed one). I recently learned that Trees don’t grow like we were taught (the root base anyways) and this area really is quite shallow, but expansive. This could of taken over the smaller, weaker tree next to it? Now i do not have any other solutions or anything... just this thought 💭
