Jazakallah Khair for this, I was researching a bit today about Zakat since I've never paid it before. It's an important obligation that is sometimes forgotten about

So, at the end of the year you basically have to see what category you fall under? Silver Nisab or Gold nisab, then calculate 2.5% accordingly. Am I correct? Thanks.
If its cash, then you look at silver nisab
Zakat should be according to gold value as the era we live is extremely expensive.
I am just retired and no longer have any income. Have used my other savings to reduced whatever loans i hve i.e house , car etc.
I hve my provident fund saved up for my retirement and now am qualified to withdraw them. I have placed this fund to an investment fund and the mudharib has given me an annual return of approximately 4.5% .
I am using this return as my annual income for my daily expenses and sometimes i had to withdraw from my principle when unexpected expense creeps up. I was told to pay zakat on my annual investment income which i did.
Now they are asking me to pay on my principle as well. I need some clarity on the basis of calculation. As am zakated twice when am retired. Tq
Assalamu aleykum wa rahmatullah. Jazakallah Khair for such a useful video. I still have several questions: I have paid my Zakat on Ramadan 19 last year, but this year I transfered it on Ramadan 17 due to the city lockdown (I could not transfer on 19th since the money trasnfering offices would have been closed) and the recipient received my zakat on Ramadan 18. 1) Which date should be considered as my anniversary from now on (for the next year for example)? 2) I paid more than 2.5%, is it allowed to pay more than 1/40th of your wealth? Will it still be considered as a proper way of giving Zakat? 3) I'm not sure how much gold (in grams) my wife has, just started thinking about it after this video. So what if she has not payed zakat for the last year from her gold? Can the extra amount of my Zakat (the part which exceeds 2.5%) be considered as a zakat for her? Or should we pay her zakat separately? On the other hand my wife has almost no cash at all (only some golden jewelerry). Thanks, and hope to get your answers asap.

What if I started earning above the nisab in July but I want to pay zakat during Ramadan in March due to extra benefits. Can I do this? Or do I have to wait till the following July?
It should b according to Hijri calendar, NOT the usual calendar we follow
Zakat on money I undrrstand fine, but whst about zakat on gold if I don't want to convert the zakst of gold into zakat on money, than how the calculation works if I have let's say 91g of Gold, how to find out how much gold I must give away as a zakat?
Hope I'll get an explenation from the mufti on the video at least
جزاكم الله خيرا!

Assalamualaikum wa rahmatulahi wa barakatahu, so should I deduct £4000 from the amount of gold and then pay zakat on the remaining. Also I am saving for Hajj do I need to pay zakat on that as well. Look forward to your response. Jazakumallah khayran
Pay zakat on the full amount including gold
May Allah accept your Hajj intentions.
I have one question if I had paid zakat on 10 lakhs last year and this year I have 12 lakhs. Then at what amount should I pay zakat this year? On 10 lakhs? Because this is the amount I possess for a year or should I pay zakat on 12 lakhs because I have this amount at this year??
Assalamu Alaikum. Thank u so much for such a helpful video. I have a question for myself and really need to know the answer because no one around me could give me a definite answer to me. My question is - Do I have to give zakat if I have this scenario?: I have nisab amount but have a long term sickness and no income flow, not sure if I'll ever be able to get employed in a job, currently depending only on the savings in islamic bank.

Please answer my simple question about zakat I give example and use English calender to explain let's say on first January I have the amount of nisab ,and next month February I have less money not enough to fall in the category of nisab but on 30th December agin I got money equal to nisab ,so I have to give 2.5 percent on that amount ?

Hello, I have been unemployed since before the pandemic (nov, 2019). I had unemployment (edd) soon after, and it was extended due to the pandemic. For one additional yr. I have a savings from my previous job. I have two savings, one checking. It is joint, Therefor if my checking doesmt have sufficient funds it takes from one savings, automatically(to avoid overdraft fees). And the second savings account is untouched. Do i pay zakat on my total amount in the bank or just the one that is untouched for over a year? I hope I made sense please advise. JazakAllah.

@@ZamZamAcademy thank you, I have submitted the question. Looking forward to a response. JazakAllah
Today’s silver price of Indian is just 34000 rupees which is nothing if I compare how expensive the daily life is now day , 25 years ago my mom used to spend 25 rupees for daily need and now she need about 400 rupees a day, so if we calculates silver value it’s still there where it was but our daily basis need gone up according to gold price.
Where should I get the information in Quran about 2.5% zakat!? What I know is it should be 20%. Please let me know the amount of zakat
Can a husband and wife combine their wealth and take 2.5% of their combined wealth?
No. It's individual
4:43: Is going down to zero means below the Nisab amount?
Below zero literally. Not just below nisab
what is nisab in uk in money
❤❤
What Masjid is this recorded at?
It doesn’t make sense.
If I had 1000 on day 1 of Ramzan 2023 and 2000 on day 1 of Ramzan 2024 with the minimum value of 500 in between that year, then the zakat of 2.5% should be paid on the 500.
It is because it is only the 500 that actually survived one whole year.
What he’s suggesting cannot be true in my opinion.
Can somebody confirm to me some non hanafi method ?
For some reasons even this is confusing

I have a question. If at the anniversary date, I don't have nisaab, when does my year start again? Especially, say I had £1000 a month before the nisaab date.
Would my new zakat year commence when I reach nisaab again after the original anniversary or should i go back to the point where I had £1000?
When you get nisaab again that is now your new date. You count a year from that new date.
It would be great if mufti saheb could approve this.
After the original anniversary, if I understand correctly. Allah knows best
هو فيه اكتر من لايك كنت عملن
We calculate beter with Gold
So complicated, feel like not giving at all
this is the 4th video ive watched and im still confused
This is the simplest and most concise explanation I have ever seen of zakat.
May Allah grant us an understanding
Obviously, you are doing this deliberately to avoid paying zakat which is unacceptable. This is the right of poor people and you have no right to do that.
