Guys, One Major thing I forgot to mention about modification In Engine Starters for High Altitude Take-offs. As you know air density and Pressures are different at higher altitudes, to cope with that there will be some improvements in pneumatic starters, usually mounted on the accessory gearboxes. Basically they get powered by air originating from another engine(small starter engine), from the auxiliary power unit , or from a ground cart. A start valve controls the input selection. The starter drives the accessory gearbox, which drives the high-compressor rotor via the same drive shaft normally used to deliver power to the gearbox. Fuel flow during starting is carefully scheduled to allow for the compressor's poor efficiency at very low RPM, and bleeds are used to unload the compressor until it can reach a self-sustaining speed.

Good update on Rafale. I am happy to see IAF getting such advanced aircraft. Was the need of the hour. But, still the price is too high for such enhancements. We don't have such quality fighter pilots who can utilize full potential of India specific enhancements. France has successfully fooled us in buying a costly product which they themselves are reducing in their fleet. Flying cost of Rafale is 20,000 USD per hour.
They use Rafale M as their front line jet (we also got 36 Rafale M) untill all will be replaced by Rafale F, the latest version. If India choose Rafale in mmrca 2.0 then they are ready to give us Rafale F (Including already given 36 ). So its not like they are giving us something inferior.
