Hi Mark! I really enjoy your videos, cuz you just seem to enjoy yourself so much!! I am in Minnesota thinking about a trip down there this winter to look around Mesa and Gillbert. And of course a drive up the Salt River just to look around!! (chuckle)
I am happy to hear that man! That is awesome. It’s nice down here in winter. Fishing doesn’t really slow down expect for the canals. The salt is awesome you’ll love it
Phenomenal job Mark! Really enjoying your camera work and the videos you’re putting out. Trout are delicious by the way. One of my favorite species to grub on. Have a great day and Happy New Year!
I been watching your videos for like a week straigh man grate content def subscribed I'm trying to get better at fishing and also from Chandler so I'm trying to lear techniques . Thanks so much
Great video. Would you please show more about how you hook up? Your bait, hooks weights, etc I wasn't clear. Was your bait always laying on the bottom or suspended? And how did you keep it on the hook? Thanks.
I am glad it helped yah! I recommend watching some basic fishing videos before you start. It will give you a baseline. Small with small fish and work your way up learning knots and new techniques
if you bleed trout they taste way better just a tip from the state of washington ik cause our state fish is the rainbow but good job also i have the same rod its a good rod
If they were bigger I’d probably bleed em, but most stockers are fine as long as you do the bloodline. In my experience anyway . But yes that rod is awesome I am loving it so far

@@KevinRapkochFishing true! Can’t wait for the flows to be up again!
what camera is it? & where did you get it from? also, how do you keep it from getting snagged & losing it ?
It’s a gofishcam, unfortunately they went out of business. I get lucky that’s how lol
Any word on when the river is going to start flowing again? I kinda prefer fishing for trout when the water is flowing.
No clue. I think around March. But I agree faster flowing water is much more fun
Stupid question but we’re did you get your pants and boots from if don’t mind me asking
They are waders. You can get them online or bass pro, cabelas 👍🏼
This is really helpful. I am just trying to learn to fish and have no idea where to go or how to start.
I am glad it helped yah! I recommend watching some basic fishing videos before you start. It will give you a baseline. Small with small fish and work your way up learning knots and new techniques
Lil Bro Mark Great to see ya hair lipping some Feesh ,hope you and your girl have a great 2023! Do ya miss the big blues?
Dugger! Great to see yah man thank you! I do miss the blues at times
Just went there today for the first time, didn't even get a bite. Tried fly fishing, powerbait and lures. Must have gotten fished a ton recently
You gotta fish it within a week of stocking or it’s empty. People overfish this spot hard. That’s why I released about as many as I caught
You got a new subscriber!
Great video. I gotta find that bridge :-)
Thanks! Not hard to find lol
@@TheFishinMagician20 😄
what kind of camera doyou have in the water
gofishcam
I went to the river today and the water level was so low. How do you know the current of the river and how high the water level is before you go?
You can google the cfs. Just search salt river cfs and you should find it . It’s been super low lately
@@TheFishinMagician20 does that work for the lakes as well?
@@TheFishinMagician20 I found a site called water data thanks you just saved me a lot of time and stress 👍🏼
How do you cook your rainbow trout?
I smoke them, and also pan fry or bake
@@TheFishinMagician20 cool, I just have trouble with the boned whenever i keep them
I’ve tried a rooster tail out there no luck that’s awesome man
Same man no luck ever on the rooster tail. But thanks!
Keep up with the good content. Have you tried the desert west park
THanks! I have not. There is a ton of ponds on the list that I need to check out honestly
@@TheFishinMagician20 oh ok cool can’t wait to watch we should link up sometime
