Since a good number of you all like my previous sets of custom HVTs I've written for Trepang2, I decided to create some more!
The new ideas for these ones are meeting certain conditions during missions similar to unlocking Cheat Codes from Goldeneye 64, or fighting enemy Aces from the Ace Combat games. While not mini-bosses like previously, these enemies would be more than ordinary NPCs, but for those who want to test their speed and/or creativity.
I'll probably resume making custom HVTs after we get to see what the first Story DLC has in store next year, so I can get an idea where to put them. For now, I think I covered all of the Campaign Missions I wanted to put my own HVT ideas in: just the exciting ones that don't feel straightforward or too slow if you know what I mean.

Not necessarily a question, but since we might fight against them in the upcoming story DLC, would you make some Syndicate inspired HVTs? Just curios.
@@gegiaalexandru9092 I'll definitely consider it! Once the first Story DLC comes out, I'll have a better idea what I want to write next. But having Syndicate HVTs as if Horizon operatives are reading them sounds like a neat idea!

I wrote Nines inspired by Star Wars actually. I didn't base it off of anyone else for him.
Did you terminate the infiltrator?
(I saw a still black box, that's why, and because his hard to spawn)
Oh, yeah. I got him several months later when I finished all missions on Rage Mode. The template I used for my profiles was from back when I took Samaritan's one in July. You might notice in the last row that none of the Update 2 HVTs got added to the roster here.
If you're wondering when Infiltrator spawns back at the Safehouse, keep going with clearing missions on Extreme or Rage Mode and he'll show up. Just remember to have your difficulty set right before you face him. I recently saw on the Trepang2 Discord someone took out Infiltrator, but the HVT kill confirmed did not register for him, because he forgot to have his game set on Extreme; he had it on Easy.

How do you making these custom HVT ?
It's not too complicated, if you're wondering how I got mine to format similar to the game's HVT profiles.
First, I used an online AI tool to identify what fonts the game uses so I could match it based on what the AI tool says. It's not 100% accurate, but I thought the fonts I picked got the job done. Quan Slim for the title and Rohn Rounded for the profile's body text.
Just so you know, the AI identification tool only tells you what font it might be after you upload a HVT image from the game. You'll have to manually download and install the fonts to your computer once you see which ones you want!
I used the HVT, Samaritan, for the base template, since the overall box for everything seemed all right for me writing my profiles. Everything I done was within Microsoft Paint; no photoshopping needed if you want to make custom ones yourself! All you need to do is black everything out first, then type whatever you want inside the text boxes. You can place your own image over the HVT portrait, so long as it covers up the original image from the game.
If you're wondering how I come up with these ideas for my custom HVTs, I'm a writer for my main job so I have experience brainstorming and getting creative. Helps to have lots of years of sci-fi with gaming, watching TV shows, movies, and pop culture overall.
