When he says in California that there are 7 times the jobs currently for non petroleum energy jobs, it may be true, however those petroleum jobs produce much more energy in this state than 7 times the non petroleum energy jobs do. That is because "oil" is a more efficient form of energy currently. I am all for wind, solar, and geothermal, but it has a long ways to go before it can equal "oil". Also, the port of Los Angeles and Long Beach alone produce many more times the pollution than all the oilfields in California combined. There is more that I have time here. Those oil wells were there long before the first house was built within 3,000 feet. Newsom=Propaganda and Lies!!!
Regarding the Summerland Coast and the representative up there, the oil company followed the direction of the State of California at the time of those oil wells that were abandoned back then. If the procedures changed, it was well after those wells were abandoned and the State of California needs to pay for it!!!
