Music, films, culture in general. There's a reason so much of today's style and pop culture is 80's inspired. It's because that's when civilisation peaked and it's all been downhill since then.

The mid 90's is when music died. The overabundance of manufactured boy and girl groups destroyed pop music by saturating the market with soulless, same-sounding drivel marketed towards the lowest common denominator. Pop stars ceased to be artists and became nothing more than shiny faces to put on the CD covers with no creative input whatsoever. If the biggest pop stars of the late 90s had never been born we'd still have their exact same songs just sung by different people.

This is a great song and that was a great movie and Rodney Dangerfield and Sally Kellerman, you will be missed and you were such great people! RIP Rodney Dangerfield, RIP Sally Kellerman, you will be missed!
No young person is going to remember this movie, despite it being a true 80's classic, because we were too young. Hell I was born in 94 and I can barely remember the late 2000s.
