@@LScout800, to be fair all tools seem hammer shaped. I used to get in so much trouble for using the torch as a hammer, it got so bad the boss started docking me one post work beer for every time he caught me. That fixed me real quick. So best I can tell, Bleepin' Jeep owes me a beer ;)
My dad would wedge a carpenter pencil because that's what he always had (I'm sure anything would do that would wedge it open) in between the the guard lever and the body of the circular saw to hold the guard wide open when needed, but never had to remove the guard, best of both worlds! The build is coming along nicely! And I like the voice over for the build videos! maybe do live action for the adventure videos 🤷🏼♂️.
15:15 I have my Alexa hookup to my stereo, so I tell Alexa to mute when I video and play music when I'm not filming or doing time-lapse videos. Hope that helps in your shop.
7:44 what was that piece for? 🤔 PS- regarding metal saw guard, with regular circular saws we usually just use a carpenter's pencil to wedge and hold guard up when needed. I'd try and figure something like that. I'm sure you could even add a permanent lil pin or something to hold up when needed. And voiceover was cool, I like it. Can always do a combo where u pop in to talk about something. It sure does make working and filming easier. I want to start doing it too, just need to get a microphone
@@bleepinjeep I thought thats what it may be for, bur wasnt sure when I saw you never welded it on. Should be strong without it, but I guess could integrate it in with some sort of license plate mount. But then again this probably wont be driven on street will it 🤣
Good vibes management on the work area, time, music. with the voice over explanation. Solves talking to the camera All the time and listening to music working.
Really coming together! The bed dressed out nice 👍. I like the voice over occasionally. Leave the guard on the saw. Any convenience gained won't be worth the potential damage or injuries.
Old carpenters trick was to use a small wooden wedge to hold the guard back on their skill saws. Should work on that as well. Just drive the wedge in place between the guard and saw body. That will cold it open then you just pop wedge out to use it with the guard. Hope that helps.
I have to admit, I was skeptical about this project initially, but now I can't wait to see it get finished. That thing is beginning to look absolutely badass!!
Enjoy the Overdubbed Video! The progress was outstanding! Knowing you both are enjoying your tunes and just putting in work is Great to watch! Wheel well caps would be cool to make drawers or boxes..
Just get an iso-tunes sponsorship & rock out to music on Bluetooth earbuds. They are fantastic & are hearing protection at the same time. Best purchase iv made for my hearing by far!!
Milwaukee makes good metal circ saws. I have the original m18 5-3/8 and there is a fuel version of it now. I love mine. They also make a 8" metal circ saw. I have used their corded version and it's awesome. The cordless is actually supposed to have more power.
Voice overs are fine once in a while. Looks like it’s coming together nicely. Its going to be hard to keep the rust off that bare metal with all that humidity down there!
Run a piece of thin cable through the hole in the back of the casing 12:35 and attach it to the bottom of the guard with a screw and washer. Then, you should be able to pull up on the cable to hold the guard out of the way when needed and not remove the safety feature of it.
Drill a hole and tap it on the outside of the saw then put a screw in that can lock the guard up. Then you can leave it on but lock it up when you need to.
For music… wear earbuds. I do that often in my garage as a form of hearing protection as well. Most mid range buds have awareness mode to allow talking to others.
Wow you guys this this is looking so good!! Keep it up 💪 the voiceovers work great for me, the video flows super well and we don't have to hear any more of Josh's terrible jokes 😅
Fellas,I wouldn't blame you if you did it every time!! Music makes the hardest work go much better!! Not that we don't enjoy listening to you two carry on 😂..oh,the bed on the jaguar looks great!
8:35 - I did know about the monetization restrictions and music but I’d personally have headphones in or something still haha I would lose my mind working day in and day out with no tunes 🙌🏻 Do more voiceovers if it means you can have more of your shop time comfortably!!
Yes, the voice-over worked well and I believe you really should think about using them predominantly with a few regular videos in between just to liven it up occasionally!
The bed is turning out very nice. The voice overs don't bother me - I also love my music and it would make for a long, long day if I had no music to listen to.
Best bed I have ever seen, on a Jag!
Really good design, nice look.
Voice over is better for me, consistent volume levels, more concise narrative.
You guys should consider the voice over more often. I like your antics but this vid flowed really well.
Agreed. A steady mixture of both types on fab videos would be good.
They need a voice over in snoops voice, would be hilarrous
Lol, like snoop dogg?
@@bleepinjeep yep, snoop dogg, his voiceover would be hilarrous, at least parts of the vid
I don't mind the voiceover. Although, I like the "normal" videos more. But I'm not going to be a psycho and say I'll never watch again haha!
Voiceovers are great. And LUNCH LADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That bed looks a million times better, can't wait to see the rest....
Looking very cool and 1 vote for voice overs so you guys can rock out with your plasma out ...
That's the best Doguar I've ever seen.
Ratchet straps have got to be the greatest tool ever . So simple and so versatile.
Killer Fenders!!
Having spent a number of years in construction, I'd never take the guard off a circular saw, they saved me a couple times
Its amazing how much you can get done listening to some tunes, great job on the voice over.
Voice over is really cool. The video flows incredibly well
The torch is not a hammer. The torch is not a hammer. The torch is not a hammer.
If not hammer, then why hammer shaped?
This^

One of the best things about your videos is your banter back-and-forth. If you can figure out doing that in voiceover then I am totally on board
It's good you made your bed ... out of steel. Hope always serves you guys such great Bleepin meals.
It really rocks, just can't wait to see how it does off road!

When using the saw with diamond plate, especially aluminum, spray it with WD-40 to keep guide plate from grabbing.
Voice over is best for complicated technical issues.
I'm loving the bed. This is the first time i had an involuntary "cool!" Escape my lips. Thank you for showing the rachet strap trick.
Wow it’s amazing!!! I don’t care if it’s voiceover or live I enjoy every vid yall make

I thought I might cap the bumper center section with that where I weld it in the middle

Voice-overs are cool. Be happy with some music-to-work-by all day!
adjust the saw for the depth of metal you are cutting and it should work better with leaving the guard still on.
Amazing job guys. I’d watch whatever kind of video you put out!
Those fenders look awesome!!
Looking good guy's.. And keep the tune's coming
Looks great guys
Josh that was this old lady waving to you from the laundry mat! Have a good day!
Personally I'm o.k. with the voice over,an I think the rig is looking amazing 🤩. Thanks for sharing 😊.
That looks amazing guys, I like the voiceover
I use a wood wedge to hold my gaurd up till I put a hook latch on the side to hold it when I do plunge cuits
Been loving the build videos and the scorpion with SXs wheeling. Great content.
Honestly I really like the voice over approach. I liked this video a lot. Also, it was pretty cool seeing you at the smoky mountain jeep invasion.
Those fender / wheel wells actually look pretty good! They’re kind of a low profile slim design. I’ll them a lot!
Thanks,
Great build brotha! Im voting every day.
It was nice to meet all of you this week. Ya'll are awesome people.
Good meeting ya!
Looking good . The Body came out amazing ✓
Good job guys I love the fab work and you guys are good at it .
Great job! It's really coming together. Crank up those tunes! 😊 Voice over is fine! 👍
The voice over is awsome
i'm loving it..this is my favourite build among all other onx contestant..
Thanks, it’s gonna be badass what finished even if we have to go back after the competition and change a few things.
The bed looks great!! And the voice over makes sense if you guys are in the groove! you really got a lot done
Great job guys. Thank you 😊

Orange you glad you have the tractor 😎
1 vote for more voice overs...I can't imagine a work day without music
That thing is turning out sweet! I don't mind the voice over at all
Such a great looking build!!
team bleepinjeep all the way !
As for me; I like this format style. I get just enough fabrication noise and a clear narration that really makes the audio levels much more even.
Really coming together! The bed dressed out nice 👍. I like the voice over occasionally. Leave the guard on the saw. Any convenience gained won't be worth the potential damage or injuries.
It's lookin really good. I like the voice over video occasionally as well. Probably more productive without having to keep talking to the camera.
Coming together 🤙
Lookin good guys! Voice over is fine.
The Dojagta is coming together nicely.
Looks amazing from the original video it’s really taken shape
Lookin' good! Voice-overs are fine, and better audio.
Looks good my dudes, reminds me of the drive over fenders I just did. Tube, Diamond plate and a million sparks

Looking sweet.
I like the voiceover parts fine, but if you give us the playlist on screen, we can be jammin' too!! Love the vids!
Absolutely love it ❤
Jam away, voice over is okay for the audio portion when the video shows the hard work you and Josh are doing. Thanks for sharing.
I would love to voice over all my videos so i can just "be in the groove". Bed looks good 👌🏻
I think u guys should keep doing voice overs bc music makes the day go by faster
Looking good 👍😎✊

I would keep the guard. Sometimes on a similar wood saw you can block it up with a nail or a dowel… etc
👍Good Job !!
Good morning everyone!!🤙🏻😎

“Mind the gap”. Heard that many times on the London Underground. Funny enough, it was also on the subway in Beijing.

We try to use Alexa or whatever but half the time she’s bonkers
Gards are always in the way if you're careful there are not necessary normally I put a self taper in the side to hold it up wen needed
Yes, the voice-over worked well and I believe you really should think about using them predominantly with a few regular videos in between just to liven it up occasionally!
Nice job
The voice over is good. Perhaps maybe a mix of your regular shenanigans plus voice over would be in order.
Don’t mind the voice overs 😊 Looking great 😊
Voice over works for me.
This is looking badass boys!! Don't mind the voice over videos it's kinda cool!!
Voice over is ok... You have your.jamz while you work. The build is looking awesome!!!
