Neurology as it pertains to the lower limbs is something that has always piqued my interest because of the condition I have suffered from all my life. As far as I know, given that I live in the United States of America in a lower-middle class house, I've had a condition that doctors were convinced was a self-inflicted issue. When I learned to walk, I had extreme difficulty putting my heels to the ground. I could only walk on my tip toes, and the most I received was occupational therapy to try and get me to stretch the Achilles tendon. eventually, I stopped getting that therapy through the school system and I was left with my parents attempting to discipline me for not overcoming my condition. I was plagued with lots of allergant related issues as a child and a relatively weak auto-immune system when I was a child, which lead to frequent cold and flu, which even then my mother was reluctant to take me to see a doctor because of the expenses incurred. I would like to see medical professionals for a number of reasons right now; I clearly suffer from extreme bouts of depression and anxiety. Walking has also become a far more difficult task as I have matured. I'd... like to not think it's my fault that I never learned to walk correctly. that's the place I've been put in my entire life and I really tried to reverse that throughout my childhood, but... I guess the thing I want to ask is if my problem could possibly be an issue with a neuron lesion or such. I do exhibit tremor in my limbs when I'm not particularly focused, although if I pay attention I can get it under control, and I have full sensation in the limbs, even if I struggle with coordination in some ways. I suppose that's what the examination is for. that's why I listen to videos of doctors going through these routine exams to try and lull myself to sleep at night, to try and associate it with a sense of security and comfort rather than anxiety over financial devastation.
I suggest he always stay over the right side of the patient as we learnt from the professor in the medical school before we get dizzy from moving around the exam couch.

I like to spread my Dr Gill time out so I can binge on a few uploads.
A lovely Friday surprise.
I don't know if requests are taken out future material is needed, but I'd love to see a video on clearing a neck/spine to remove a collar after a trauma. If that's in your wheelhouse of course 🙂
Good idea
So are you a medical lecturer? was you ever a doctor before you became a lecturer or was that your plan all along
I’m both 😊
Dr James Gill your salary must be 6 figures then😂
🤣🤣🤣 I wish
My favorite doctor ❤️
Where paper?
Super
Thanks
It made me sleep very wall and fast.. 😊
Abbey with brighter hair and Doc back to short hair, it's a kind of fashion!
She is a legend
so doctors and patients still have to wear masks even if they are both fully vaccinated?
Yes. As the vaccines are not 100%.
It’s different compared to going to a restaurant for example, as during an examination you are literally inside an individuals personal space
@@DrJamesGill oh! okay. That makes total sense. I will be in a hospital setting starting in September for boces, I wonder if they will still be required then, I hope not but whatever is safest.
I wouldn’t be surprised if in health care setting we are still using them then
Are Dr. Gill and Abby going strong?? Oh, I wish! I wish we could make it happen!
I think something goofed with the audio after the shoe check. There were a few head shakes before questions were asked
Yes. I’m so annoyed. But can’t change it now 😐
