My tip would be to watch multiple TH-cam barbers and take bits and pieces from each of them. But once you’re in a shop that’s where you will learn the most from the vets you’re working next to.
I've been cutting 3 years my hair and sons. Sometimes co workers 😆 I've watched 100-200 videos. Some they average 15 minutes. I'm not a pro but I understand all types of videos and also how each different clipper and trimmer differentiate. Good luck . Trust the process

When I ask for a high fade this is what I mean. I feel like my barber makes mine literally too mid. And the contrast doesn’t last long. My sides get dark too soon.
