Great tips! Having vacationed in Punta Cana several times from the US, here are our tips! Only eat cooked food (not foods like salads) to lessen the risk of getting traveler's diarrhea. Don't check a bag...only take a carry-on bag because the line to check a bag when returning home at the Punta Cana airport can be insane!
We were interested in visiting Punta Cana last valentines, but we opted for Cancun instead. But, we definitely are looking to head to Punta Cana very soon.
That was a good choice, the people in punta cana can be annoying trying to sell you a party boat or excursion every 15 steps, very beautiful nonetheless and it’s easy to get them to go away but it’s still nice not needing to tell people to go away so often

I'm down to these 4 trying to get to my top pick. Traveling with a 16 and 13 year old. Being on the beach is important as well. Please help! lol

Hola! We've been to Dreams Flora and Paradisus Palma Real, Dreams Flora is definitely a better choice (based on our experience). Hope this helps! =)
