- Solstis is a head to head tile capture game where players will be competing to assemble the largest portion of the mountain panorama. With only one of each tile in the game, Solstis players will have to outwit their opponent to score as many points as possible by building their mountain panorama, lighting fires at the top of the mountain, and encountering spirits. In this video we'll teach you how to play Solstis both Head to Head and Solo.

In Solstis players will be collecting tiles to add to their personal panorama as they compete to create the largest single section of the mountain panorama photo by assembling tiles that they capture from the display. In Solstis, tiles are captured by matching a tile from your hand to tiles in the display, either by matching the number or the color. Each tile in Solstis has an assigned spot in the panorama. Players who aren't able to capture a tile will be given a second chance, adding their tile to the display and drawing a random tile to use to capture. If that fails, take a rainbow tile and add it to any spot in the panorama. When a 2x2 set of tiles is formed, a spirit is encountered, giving players a variety of bonuses, either immediate or end game.
A game of Solstis ends when neither player can take capture a tile, and players score for their largest land segment, fires at the top of the mountain, and spirits. The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins.

From the Publisher:
PROVE YOUR WORTH AND EARN THE MOST ⭐️ POSSIBLE by traveling the mountain and assembling as many landscape tiles as possible, meeting the forest spirits and lighting fires on the peaks creating a path through the valley.
The tile capture mechanics are taken from the hanafuda mechanics. Collect a tile according to the column or row then place them in your landscape. The goal of the game will be to reconstruct a landscape by combining its tiles to score as many points as possible. You will have to be careful not to leave tiles to your opponent while optimizing your landscape according to your opponent's choices. Also, create tile squares to collect spirits that will help you during or at the end of the game.
The experience is... zen and very quick to set up! For adults and children!
