Love the bonfire socks! I’m knitting a Musselburgh hat too, but I’ve been in a knitting slump. I do have a question about how you’re doing your Bible study. I started, but don’t do it daily. I get bogged down talking notes and then listening to the devotional, but I am always frantically taking notes from the devotional too. I may need to focus on listening instead of trying to take notes while reading and while listening to the devotional. I enjoy it when I make time in my day, but I’m trying to simplify it a little. Thanks 😊.
I’m working away on my family’s boxes of socks and trying not to think of how many days until Christmas. 😂 I set a new goal for them each to have at least two pair. I’m going to continue doing this next year also. I’m looking forward to getting my skein of “Bonfire” yarn, but those socks will be mine.
Sadly I Haven’t watched your episodes in a while. Been super busy juggling several things and do not have the time to knit or crochet at the moment but I I’m happy to hear you say to have a blessed day 😊. Wishing you and your family many blessings
I love the yarn by YarnSmith-Bonfire. I’m not usually a fall colors person. I love brights, pinks and turquoise, etc. But that seems a fun yarn to work with -Always changing. I find that really fun. I also love the SweetShoppe yarn by Legacy Fibre Works. That is definitely my vibe! Yours are so pretty.
You are so adventurous in your color choices. I would never have thought to use that mint green with the red/pink main color yarn. But it looks fantastic. It's really inspiring me to try something different. Thanks for another great video.
Those bonfire socks are fire. They’re so beautiful. Thank you by the way for getting me into Frieda McFadden. I’ve only read one so far and I couldn’t stop reading it, it was the locked door. Funny enough, just started this morning the boyfriend and it’s already got me hooked.
All your projects always inspire-both FOs and WIPs. You have some gorgeous new yarn waiting for you too-with more to come. Happy Mail is the best! I just finished my first Christmas gift for the season coming up. I started with my youngest grandson's socks since he wears a 13 1/3 shoe. That was a lotta foot! It will be nice to knit a "normal" size pair of socks for his big brother. Enjoy your weekend and week ahead!
Love that Bonfire 🔥 colorway. Used your link to purchase some before the video even ended 😂. I think I have some yarn in my stash similar to your contrast color that I can use for heels and toes. I love yours so much. Thanks for the inspiration. 😊
I cannot tell you how blessed I feel to have found you and your channel. I make your vanilla sock pattern the most, but have also made a few of your other patterns. The granny stripe afghan you have made is what I am making with all my leftover sock yarn, and I was inspired by you to finish my first Musselburgh hat that I started last fall. Most importantly, my daughter and I have been doing the Bible Recap together since you introduced it. Thank you for what you do. Have a blessed day!
I am working on my first pair of Rhinebeck Roomies and I just love them! You continue to be such an amazing inspiration and bring much joy to my life. Thank you!!!
Happy Friday!! Love the bonfire socks!!! I just casted on another WIP ; the spooky pumpkin mitts so I need to knit faster . I can’t believe how quick Christmas is approaching time needs to slow down. Have a wonderful weekend!
❤ that new yarn ❤ I'm right there with you. I have 7 more musselburghs and 2 pairs of socks to get done before Christmas. I think I have plenty of time. I'm using worsted weight for the musselburghs, so they fly off the needles.
Your socks are always so beautiful and so perfect looking. I wish I could get mine to look that way. I guess it comes with practice. I think you have inspired me to start practicing more socks. I definitely use your marking method though with the bulb markers. Best trick ever. :)
The yarn Smith yarn is so so pretty! 😍🤩 I purchased some for the first time last year at the wool gathering, but I still haven’t had a chance to knit it up.🤦🏾♀️💛
The Hocus Pocus Mystery set is so pretty (mine arrived a couple days ago) and I can’t wait to get home to see what my October YARNABLE looks like (I got the delivery notification earlier today).
Love all the socks. Been knitting a pair on dpns using your vanilla sock pattern. Started reading The Teacher by Freida McFadden and now am hooked on her books, reading the Housemaid series. Have a great week!
81days. 🎄 Just checked my countdown app. I am sewing notions pouches for someone's advent boxes today. It is always a joy to have your creative company!
Your projects are lovely! I really like the striped socks. The Heiress was so good. I’m now reading The Wife Upstairs by the same author (Rachel Hawkins) and it’s a great read also. Take care, Kayla.
I really want to cast on another Musselborough hat soon! I also love the Follow your Path sock pattern which is calling me too! Love your finished socks this week!
Yes, I agree the bonfire socks are so pretty and so are the yarnable ones Rhinebeck roomies. Thanks for sharing your week with us. Have a blessed weekend friends.
Your socks are great!! I like them all, but the bonfire ones are good. I like the Musselburgh hats. I have made one. I am watching season 7 in Alone! I watched season 11 in Aug. I love Alone.
Hi Kayla, Do you enjoy knitting DK weight socks periodically? Just curious if you enjoy it much. They go by faster for me, I feel so slow compared to others that knit so many with fingering/sock yarn. Love all of your beautiful socks. 🥰
We love to camp and hike as well. Can you recommend any sock patterns/tips that would be good to protect feet in hiking boots and withstand the friction that hiking creates. That November box IS "too stinking cute"!
My dad was struggling to get his socks on, i found the best fix was to make the heel flap longer then you have more stitches to pick it worked really well.
Have you tried just casting on stitches on a regular needle and splitting them for the musselburgh yet? I just cast on another one and I'm trying it this time. I figure if I don't like it it can be the inside of the hat worst case scenario.
Curious question: How many size 0 9” needles do you own? I keep finding myself running short. 😂. I know, quit casting on, right? As always your knitting is gorgeous!
You are so pretty and talented. I’m sure you get this a lot but if you don’t here it is- you look so much like Anna Hathaway it’s mind blowing. I love watching your vids ❤️
I also read “The Boyfriend” this week. What did you think of it? It wasn’t my favorite Freida novel, but that hasn’t discouraged me off finishing her bibliography!
Hello I just love your socks but I really need your help.i live in North Carolina and I'm going to try to make baby socks for the babies and for kids but I learned to knit on your video on nine inches cir.can you please tell me how .be blessed

Traveling today so have vanilla socks for my 5 hour flight!
What are the white cabinets behind you, I’m looking for shelves with doors for my craft room TIA
We love to camp and hike as well. Can you recommend any sock patterns/tips that would be good to protect feet in hiking boots and withstand the friction that hiking creates. That November box IS "too stinking cute"!
Sorry I have never tried to wear my handknit socks when hiking, so I’m not sure.
@@CrazySockLady I'll try to look it up and let you know if I find anything.

Hello Kayla. Beautiful makes as always.
Hello Kayla from Swansea, Illinois.❤❤❤❤❤
Great podcast as always 🧶☕️😊
I would love to see a video of you walking on the treadmill and knitting at the same time. How do you do it? You are amazing!
I don’t do anything special, just walking while I knit. 🙂
Loving all the socks!
My dad was struggling to get his socks on, i found the best fix was to make the heel flap longer then you have more stitches to pick it worked really well.
Couldn't resist. Had to order the Bonfire.😊
Love all the socks. The Musselburgh hat looks cosy. Enjoy the cooking. 🇬🇧
Great video and beautiful yarn

I got to wondering, how many sets of the same size needles do you have? Just curious.
How do you knit on your treadmill? I love the socks just gorgeous 😍

I don’t have any patterns for baby socks, I would suggest looking on Ravelry for baby sock patterns. 🧦🩷
