This boss has been the biggest Wall for me thus far... by a LOT! Had already cleared Plagueland and some Blackrock Heroics before looking for this Guide.
Thanks for the video! I’ve now passed you up on these but have been using them from the start. For anyone still struggling I just sent a chimera up the bridge and supported with QB and EE. The rest is pretty flexible but an execute or blizzard is great and a troll or pyro work wonders. Key was to get a chimera up and turn the boss around
It’s so easy because he gets no enemies. I don’t know why he doesn’t get as many enemies but I could show you my scenario and I get many more enemy minis and his walkthrough doesn’t work…
@@finnfransen5881Not true. With his enemies I would win easily. I get much stronger and much more enemies. My minis are on lvl 24 and 25 and it’s nearly impossible to win. After about 50 or 60 tries I managed to win 3 times with 3 different heroes… The main problem is its nearly impossible to get the tower and to control the gold
@@DirkLeibenguth throw an earth elemental immediately and wait to throw your blizzard until he summons the miner. Take the miner with the blizzard every time and it’s an easy win. Works with all leaders.
This is brilliant ! thanks ! finally one boss, where I don't have to customize 5 different armies in Rumble (even though you are usually using 4 core slots, which already is an outstanding and helpful idea !). But now we can use 1 lineup for all families ! :)
Used huntress (ambush), chimaera (poison), earth elemental, quillboar and polymorph. Never used the 6th. Send huntress and chimaera up the bridge as they clear everything. Huntress is the biggest threat so use poly to cc her. When they’re about to reach boss, use the tanks. Chimaera poison will do most of the damage. Gargoyles aren’t very dangerous as i use them to buy some time to rotate minis. However don’t stack them too much or the boss will use blizzard (which may kill the chimaera, huntress has resist so she should survive).
I found this one challenging and needed to tweak the team builds. Subbed pyro for DT and brought gryphon in for cheap assists. Pressured both bridge and tower. Once tower captured easy.
As I see the Poison talent on Darkspear Troll is necessary? Well, at the time I will go for a Colbatann heroic fight (I stopped doing heroics because of week quests on Darkmoon Faire/Blingtron, even though I didn't get even one of those "Gain 1 Sigil", lol) I think I will have Darkspear Troll at rare rarity so I would choose it then.
@@OldGuardian I don't think they all are up to date because of nerfs/new minis etc. I tried successfully making my own armies based on yours from previous dungeons for different factions tho. EDIT: I even posted an army for 2 (or 3) weeks ago dungeon (with Undead) on your last dungeon video with Ragnaros. I also cleared last week Alliance with Tirion and Maiev and on this week dungeon I cleared already one with Cairne with Execute, Witch Doctor, Pyromancer, Whelp Eggs, Earth Elemental and Skeleton Army. But the case is that I'm not that good in creating own very suitable armies like you do and I'm just opening your last videos from current dungeon and I'm choosing what I think are the most accurate minis for the dungeon.
As a downside, the Skeletons will pop eggs but at a low level cannot kill the Whelps, so you have Whelps coming at you and you cannot mine with Kobold.
I sadly couldn’t get these combinations to work for me - at least not completely. I found chimera and either bandits or whelp eggs (depending on slots) were good substitutes with skeles, earth ele, banshee and blizzard. Swapped out those couple of minis and near 1-shot each boss with a lvl 22 average. Thanks for the inspo!
Troll without poison talent is absolutely trash against gargoyle. In my seed the enemy plays a gargoyle on the tower almost immediately, so it's two against me, I get one with banshee and the other one destroys me even against two trolls
@@h04513 yep - agreed. I only have regen on my troll - another reason for swapping out. I had one boss with 2 gargoyles up front. Chimera makes a pretty big dent in them, give it a try.
@@h04513 horde is the hardest by far too. I also used murk eye for beast leader as well as the murlocs aren’t affected by the frost, so they also rip through the gargoyles. The huntress’ are the main pain in the rear throughout. Manage them and you’ll get the win IMO.
Once again I get much more enemy troops against me then in your fight. Also darkspear troll isn’t able any longer to kill the little dragons. He only opens an egg and then aims the next egg so he will be killed by the first little dragon. Also lots of hunters on the map and I mean a lot! Blizzard always adapts the heroic maps when they see videos like yours I think… not your fault! It’s a pay to win game or you have to stand a lot of frustrating moments 😢

Your minis were 3-4 levels below and you still made it look easy. You are a pro, OG!

@@DirkLeibenguththe bots strategy and openings do change between leaders and accounts. But they do not get extra gold (ergo no extra units)

Fun fact, using Baron Rivendare on the map and summoning skeletons from base does not slow the skeletons down...

I use Chimaera instead of miner, another poison dealer + great against clearing eggs etc.

I swapped skeletons for execute to get through as Horde. The skeletons don't do much of anything to begin with.

I just move meat wagon up, take tower and then making push
