Well I'll have to say that I enjoyed the episodes you completed and it's certainly inspired me to make a run, not only at strider mode but also other solo games. Can't wait to check out your solo mode for Forbidden Lands. Thanks so much for doing this and might I suggest putting out some of the duet mode TOR2e? Would love to see that!
Damn, have been watching these episodes the last few days and was excited for Tharbad content - oh well! Loved this series though, definitely some of the better TOR content out there. Cheers!
I wasn't expecting this ending, but completely understandable. I really enjoyed all this videos. I watch/listen in 2 days! Very helpful it gave me the courage to start my Strider Campaign. I will check your other content! Good luck 🤝
I totally get you. If you are playing solo and are not enjoying it, there is no reason on keeping doing it regardless if there is an audience or not. Nevertheless, I am glad that you are back!
I agree that Shawn Tomkin could I have put more plot generation mechanics or more table like he did in Ironsworn. Either he wanted to push players towards his own game, either Free league expect people to use pre-written contains they will publish, which seems contrary to solo game in general. Also, I don't think Free League is going to release more stuff for Strider Mode. It was a late stretch goal in a kickstarter after all and they are already slow at producing more TOR contents
Actually, Shawn had a word count limit he had to work to which is why it was so short. And there has been enough interest in Strider Mode that I wouldn't rule out an expansion. As far as additional content, well Ruins only just got publicly released a few weeks ago and there is definitely at least two more books in the pipeline - one a more traditional campaign and the other the big Moria expansion. So the TOR line is very much alive and active.
We are now getting a Strider Mode expansion in the new Moria supplement which is on Kickstarter right now. Strider Mode is a stretch goal that just unlocked.
