I got flustered with that dice roll example at 17:30 and got it wrong. Here's the clarification: If an enemy has a critical defense, each critical success (3 of a kind) rolled by the Heroes deals 1 grit damage. So in the example of the Hero rolling 2 critical successes, the enemy would lose 2 grit. An extreme success (4 of a kind) is worth 3 critical successes, so rolling 1 critical and 1 extreme success against an enemy with critical defense would mean that enemy loses 4 grit. Simple, really. 😅
The solo rules are being designed to be used by a single player (true solo) or multiple players without a Director (co-op). Likewise, a Director in a standard group setup will be able to use the solo rules to run a campaign without any prep. These are so being taken into account with the design.

So glad you clarified as I was saying to myself that doesnt seem right while watching XD.
I looked at this campaign and hesitated. Then I saw you were generating the solo rules. Bam, backed. Thanks, Matt.
I joined near the end of the live stream.
Luckily, I will be able to watch it now!
Are the solo rules for the single character rules, for multyple characters or doesn’t matter the count?

@@3Skulls Are the solo rules available to use yet?
@@ChrisStarr-m4m Not yet, no. Now sure about the timelines, either, other than hopefully soon.
