How to use accelerating fragrance in soapmaking? Here is your answer:

You have a fragrance that smells great but give you a hard time to make soap, here is what you should do-
1. Use a recipe that traces very very slow- I used 100% OO recipe
2. No water discount - use 38%. That also helps to slow down the trace in soap making
3. Soap at a lower temperature- lye-water solution- 90 degrees & OO at room temperature.
Here is the Olive oil soap recipe that I promised -
Olive oil- 32 oz
Lye / Sodium hydroxide- 4.08 oz
Distilled water - 12.16 oz
Fragrance oil- I used Candle science Black sea Fragrance oil & maximum limit for this fragrance oil is - 3%, so I used 0.96 oz of this fragrance oil.
These are the only 4 ingredients I used for this soap. This is also perfect for beginner soap makers.
