  • (Note: This music goes to Disney.) (Tip: For this video to look it's best be sure to put it in 720 and in full screen! Thanks!)
It has always been a dream of mine to recreate World of Color. I first started off with recreating it on RCT3 but found that it wasn't as satisfying as seeing the show in person. I decided to start working on an even bigger project... one that you can see in person. World of Color will be jumping out of RCT3 and now be seen in real life from my front yard. I know other people have tried making their own WOC shows before, but this show will compare to none of those. This show will come to life in a brand new way and incorporate water, fog, moving images, light, and most importantly: COLOR! I have already constructed a water basin that is 14ft by 10ft. Oh yeah this show is huge. The water basin is pushed to its limits when it comes to this show. Water jets range from 2 feet tall all the way to 60 feet tall! It is estimated that in my final design I should have around 64 channels used to run the show. 33 individual jets will run the show in my final design, all with individual control. Not to mention each jets will be fitted with a custom RGB LED light source that I've custom made myself. Aside from the heap of jets used in the show will be: Spot Lights, Projected Images, Lasers, Strobes, and Fog to help recreate World of Color the best I can. If all goes according to plan, this show should be the first homemade World of Color water show to incorporate moving jets. I have A LOT of video that I can't wait to show everyone which means that there should be update videos coming out on a weekly basis. I can't wait to take my fans and viewers on the exciting journey leading up to opening night. It will be something I hope no one will miss!

Hey thanks a lot jingles! I am going to be incorporating DMX Intelligent lights in this show and it's not something I'm too familiar with. It'll be nice to have an expert to ask questions too! Thanks again!

One of my update videos coming up is going to be just on my water screen and how I make them work and the different projection techniques. Stay tuned!

Ya they aren't really all that cheap but they are decent movers.
I have never actually used vision. All my 3D videos are using the built in 3D visualizer in the Elation programs. you could message me a link to the program and i'll see.

I currently am switching jobs from one lighting company to another. Look up the Ice 60 spot by Blizzard Lighting. It's a good "cheapish" bright moving head with plenty of gobo's and features. Lowest price I can say publicly is $799 each. however that is MAP price. no one ever pays MAP price. :)

If you need any help as far as DMX intelligent lighting programming let me know. I'll be glad to help if I can. This looks really interesting. I look forward to the videos.

That's still pretty pricey but thanks anyway! I noticed you're really good at CGI stuff with DMX. I have the trial version of Vision 2.2 but I'm not really sure how to get anything to work. Would you be able to help me on that?

Right now I'm using Light - O - Rama. It definitely doesn't compare to the DMX Software you use but it works for me. Light - O - Rama also has an attachment to use DMX. I believe it's called iDMX1000. The only use I have for DMX is two intelligent moving lights. I'm trying to keep my budget low but buy the best things I can get. The show is so big that if I just focus on one thing, I won't have enough money to get everything else. What do you recommend for cheap moving lights?

No problem. What program or controller are you going to use and What DMX lights? If you have the budget for it I highly recommend Elation Compu Show software. I work for Elation doing support for that program and many others. Message me any details.
