@@OOpSjmexactly, in jersey you can bury concrete on site, I’m not sure if that’s allowed in Maryland, and who knows what the state wants as they own it
@@blacksheep9734 concrete is considered clean fill because it will break down over time and has no petroleum in it like asphalt. It already has concrete surrounding the steel box. Thats when you ask for permission and what the owners would like....filled with blocks then dirt or an open hole someone could fall in and get hurt???
@@OOpSjm so he should just leave it a hole then for someone to fall in? Thats when you ask permission or make them responsible to fill it because he doesn't have anything else to fill it with....they want it gone and those are their two options available. @ most of the time that box will have to be broken so it won’t hold water, can’t just fill it and call it good. And as I said, it depends on the state and location, concrete is not always considered clean fill.
Might see if you can rent a magnet that goes on the forks of the dingo. We have one at work for the forklift so we can pick up bolts after we break down return reels. Good an stout and had a easy release handle to get the metal off the magnet.
Might be worthwhile to really sift through the "scrap". It may save you some coin later, i know you can't see great from the camera but some of those flanges look pretty good still.
This guy👍 save all the jiffy joints, expansion joints and cushion boxes you can possibly save. Even if you just cut them off downspout do to freight cost. Pipes cheap but those fittings really nickle and dime the erection project.
@@DarrellRobinson-ob1sk he better figure out what the owners want done with the hole. I suggested the broken block then dirt which is considered clean fill, not to mention its surrounded by concrete. All I got was hes not the owner and that may not be allowed there....its better then an open hole someone could get hurt falling in.
You'd have saved so much time if you only cleaned up the site as you took it apart. A simple nail apron for the guys pulling the bolts/nuts to drop each one in wouldhave been so much simpiler then dragging the magnet over and over and over again
Nope. You'd have to pay the bin crew an enormous amount of money for them to be keeping the bolts into containers as they go. Would slow them down by about 25-30%
You and your brother work well together. Nice to see that. Can't wait for his channel.
That’s one hell of a project and as per usual you’re making it happen! You are going to have a Lot of options with that setup! Great work!!
Got to be a great feeling, getting it back home! You had a great crew helping!
Them bottom panels would make a really good pig pen
Thats a fantasic idea.
Awesome job man, you have scored huge, even though you have a huge effort ahead, your work ethic will get the job done!

You do to you and I'll keep watching please be safe you boys got that under control good looking Godspeed
Fill the hole with the broken blocks then cover with dirt and whatever came out of the grain bins.
He isn't the property owner

Another daily dose of Duffy Ag!
You guys are doing a great job!
Dam good job and good luck
Big undertaking. I would not of had the nerve to bid on that. Will be so nice to have though.
Nice video
Good ta go Duff !
once you have everything set up on a bin you should be able to knock down a bin per day no matter the size
Duffy's hand signals are confusing
It is what it is.
Good deal Duff! Keep it up

Maybe should have brought some 2 way radios
So glad to hear the truck is working good on the long safe trip 🎉❤
You must be thankful you have got so far so soon as it is going to make it so much better for you well done to you all
Where's the crew chief
please DO NOT scrap things as you may need flanges and fittings that will end up costing a lot, so one more load will make you money

Save everything till all put back together,or it could cost you a lot of extra money and who has extra money
Uneventful ride is always good!
Party on!
You should have someone run your pick up and gooseneck.
Glad ur ride home was uneventful. Good trip to break er in.
That pit cover you could bet repurpose for gate cattle quard
Or walk thew gate 4 wheeler

you need to get some sort of way to talk to each other
your doing good. Pull all that wire in the ground. Your not going to like rebuying that. Interesting work. Different from the regular routine.
Now the fun begins
Putting it back to gether
You do realize that you guys have phones? Works better than hand signals from a distance.
Use a transfer pump and pump fuel out of your road tractor tank.
Except some have a screen too keep the big things out
Your operator sucks cost you more money him operating take all damn day
