Italy Digital Nomad Visa Alert! 🇮🇹 🍷 ☕ and ⛱ I'm loving the recently introduced Italian Digital Nomad visa. If it was 10 years ago (pre-kid!) I would definitely be hopping a plane to Rome. Some really interesting possible tax benefits/savings as well.
I see that digital nomads in Italy will have to pay Italian taxes since day one. With a lot of benefits. As an analogy, those nomads in México live there with a tourist Visa for 6 months, they leave and come back. Which is starting to bother locals, because they don’t pay local taxes.
@@juanjosedesantiago7320 Yes. Taxes are part of these digital nomad visas. Each country has different tax thresholds and rates. A work around that digital nomads use is to move around a lot more. Basically, stay in a country (or the EU) for 90 days at a time before moving on to the next country. If they do it this way, they tend not to have tax liability but they then cannot work to establish permanent residency and possibly citizenship. It's one or the other.
@@sarahwyngaard6953 Thank you for explaining it to me, I rewatched in the video and realized that there are great taxation benefits. Lots of great information!
WOW, I didn’t know that the process and the years in Italy can lead professionals to citizenship. Excellent video!
Yes, its a really great option to get that EU passport!

This is such an exciting opportunity for remote professionals! Who wouldn’t want to turn remote work into la dolce vita? 🍷🍝
Are you sure about passive income such as rental income counting towards the minimum requirement? I didnt think this was possible?
