That will be very good. I heard last year that the Ashanti king was working on a similar project. I hope this spreads outside Ghana and other West African countries emulate. Afterall historical diasporans are from West Africa.

This isn't true. The Chief graciously is allowing plot owners to register their Indentures. However there are errors made on them that will prevent registration in the land records. The lawyer was hired to identify the mistakes, so this info can be taken back to the Chief so that corrections can be made to update the Indentures. There are so many negative rumors going around that it makes me sad. Good things are happening behind the scenes, but negative people are twisting the truth to suit their own agenda. Let's seek out facts, before giving voice to rumors 🙏🏽
Exactly! People only want to keep making money from this process and project and not be honest and transparent about what's truly happening on the ground. They are putting money before honesty and transparency but the truth will always prevail! And these people who are trying to downplay the plotholders rightful concerns will be held accountable. Maybe not in this lifetime but they surely will on the other side in front of The Most High.

There's freedom of speech! People are entitled to speak, regardless of the amount of money to pay to get the land paper etc free land etc! People can talk! People should do due diligence before giving their hard earned money. $1200 can buy land in Ghana/Africa thats not free! That if you choose you can sell on etc at a later time!

A medical degree from UK and he has never practiced medicine in Uganda, a professional skill the Ugandan government will embrace after taking the board licensing exam. If the land is to be purchased, we should stop saying free land so there is no confusion or say the land is free but there are incidental costs and lay out what the costs are. I am Ghanaian and there are a lot of issues when it comes to land.
The land is free. You just have to pay for the registration and
Other fees that need to be paid. The chiefs will not pay that for you.
So, if someone gives you a free car in America and you go to the Registry and pay to get it registered in your name, does it mean it's no more a free car because you paid money to get it registered in your name? I want to ask? 😮😮😮

It baffles me to see how jealous some of these East African bloggers are especially the Kenyan bloggers of Ghana. They insert themselves in things that doesn’t concern them. Those people have issues.
I contacted Byron and the lady that said she was a realtor, none of them have get back to me, how can anyone get to decide about anything if you can't get someone to talk to? My wife and I want to move to Ghana, but we want to speak to a legit person who can pass on the right information. So many videos are being shown on TH-cam with different information, no one knows what to believe.

You just added more fuel to the fire, by stating some folks, hired a lawyer to change paperwork from lease to Freehold. Which is not true regarding the intentions or the actions of the group I’m in.
Get a better source of information, before bad-mouthing diasporans who are looking out for themselves considering this project has been dragged into court by a Ghanaian family who claims they have been mistreated by the powers that be. Sorry, some of us are not going to stick our heads in the sand, while court drama is circling around us for the sake of going along to get along. And ignore that others possibly have not or are not doing the right thing in how Ghanina families, farmers, and diasporans have or are being treated.
Ghana is not a free-hold country like Kenya, I've been told there may be some land in Ghana where it's sold freehold, but for the most part, Ghana utilizes the leasehold model. Some of us are aware that African countries have a real estate model of freehold vs leasehold.
Second point, Politico NPR a Western news outlet interviewed the family who brought a legal case against the Paramount Chief of Asebu, they alleged they were told Diasporas have guns and will use them against them. Oshay Duke Jackson was repeating a news story given by the family who has a current court case against the Paramount Chief disputing how he has dealt with them as a family regarding the selling of their land in conjunction with the Pan African Village Project.
So if you’re going to tell the story tell it correctly. Since Ghana has a high number of cases involving land disputes. Even the most recent case in Accra that’s been going on for 40 years. We coming from the West would be foolish not to have legal documents reviewed by an attorney. Especially since many are investing 60k or more to build a home.
You can make your point without comparing Kenya to Ghana.

Ekow, ask those trying to tarnish the name of Ghana because of this Asebu land to go to Accra and purchase plots for over $100,000/plot. GoBlack is a braggart who came to Africa with the mentality that people should worship him. He has made it his mission to tarnish the image of Ghana and I wonder why Ghana immigration keep letting him in and out of the country. His behavior is mind boggling. In my opinion, I think he is an agent. Why does he keep coming back to west Africa if it's an under developed and horrible region as he goes around tarnishing the image of west Africa. Such a consistent pattern of behavior will draw the attention of any responsible government to learn about his mission in the country. Does anyone remember/recall the Tunisian lady who thrashed Ivory Coast on social media during the AFCON tournament? She was kicked out in less than 12 hours and banned from ever entering the country. Nobody is perfect! But because we come there to leave America and live in Ghana! We don't have to come there at all! Ghana is growing a whole lot because of us! The attitudes come from culture clashes with people in general! No one is giving us any the for free, free isn't all what it means because there is more money that need to be spent like the registration and permit to build! The contractor cost to build! Free is nice but it's still a cost believe it! I'll take it though because in America land is not free unless inheritance
