We had over 100lbs sweet potato harvSo we So we had a huge 100lb sweet potato harvest this last fall and needed something to help us use up our harvest. I asked for a commercial grade French fry cutter to help. This potato cutter is heavy duty and can handle the thick hard sweet potatoes a lot better than a regular French fry cutters. This cutter is high quality and will last for many years. We love French fries and this thing speeds up the process so much we can eat a healthier option for French fries that we grew in our own garden.

Do you still like it? Are you finding that the blades are dulling after cutting lots of sweet potatoes?

I love it but yes the sweet potatoes are tough on it I decided to do smaller potatoes or cut the larger ones down before running them through. It is a bit of a cleanup. That’s the biggest headache so do a lot to make it worth having to clean it.

We grow our own slips and we use Beauregard sweet potatoes. We got a video on growing slips. You can buy some organic sweet potatoes and grow your own
