Welcome to Nashville, Tennessee! Let’s explore Nashville’s historic 12 South neighborhood together this morning. This charming and very lively area of Nashville is an absolute must-see whenever you may find yourself driving through the state of Tennessee! Located just west of Interstate 65, and directly south of downtown, it’s an easy place to pull off the road for a quick stop.
But just because it’s an ‘easy off’ the highway, doesn’t mean it’s worthy of a short visit, maybe to stretch your legs, fuel up, and get back on the road. 12 South is a destination all its own. You can spend the day away here, and into the night. With shopping, dining, recreational activities, green space, and tons of large murals gracing the streets, there’s literally something to explore and discover around every corner.
Surrounded by bungalow style housing and pedestrian friendly businesses, boutique shopping, and a variety of coffee shops and dining options, 12 South is one of Nashville’s most walkable neighborhoods to live, work, and play in. And while the “I Believe In Nashville” Mural is probably its most famed icon, every cup of coffee I’ve had here is just as special to me as getting an annual selfie at the mural.
So let’s explore this beautiful and colorful street together. While a good cup of coffee can bring a community together, so can art, fresh air, mystery, and laughter. We’ll have a little bit of fun together this morning in this amazing city, walking hand-in-hand.
