    Nashville is my hometown born and raised! I unfortunately live in Raleigh now and it’s tiny. People in Raleigh thought Nashville was smaller than them until they visited Nashville and they found out how huge Nashville is.

    Great suggestions, I'm actually watching this after our mid-March Spring Break 2023 family trip to Nashville. Overall, we LOVED it!!! Since we were traveling with teenagers, we had to balance out family-friendly activities with the grown-up destinations like cocktail bars and such. Our teens are big alternative music fans so we managed to work in the Johnny Cash museum and a dinner trip to Kid Rock's joint, along with visits to other cool music destinations like the Gibson garage and Jack White's Third Man Records. My wife and I did make another Lower Broadway stop (sans kids) at Luke Bryant's during the day, we preferred it to Old Red across the street. But our favorite grown up stops were the Bridge Bar at the Renaissance Hotel and the bar at Drusie & Darr in the basement of the Hermitage Hotel, both had AMAZING cocktails (yes, also expensive but worth it)! Our last stop on the way out of town was a LOT of fun - Pins Mechanical Company where the teenagers played old school video games while my wife and I had great drinks out by the fire pits out front. Our only issue was the crazy cold weather, but we packed well for it. All in all, we definitely plan on a return trip, either with kids or just by ourselves. A hearty thumbs up from these Austin Texas folks for Nashville 💖

      That's awesome! I am happy you guys had a great experience in our awesome city. Sounds like you were able to check off a lot of activities and have an incredible experience. Funny you mention Luke Bryans bar because I used to work there for 5 years! And just be thankful it was cold and not hot lol. The weather here in the summer is almost unbearable with how muggy it is. But then again maybe you guys are used to the hot weather since you live in Texas. I have never been to Austin, just Dallas and San Antonio, but I have always wanted to come down and check it out. I here it is the "other music city"

    This is very helpful! Is going to Nashville in March a good idea?

    • @andrewlindseylifestyle
      @andrewlindseylifestyle  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Happy it helped you! March is a good time usually. It's the first month after slow season and the weather is usually pretty comfortable. St Patricks day can be a busy tourist day/weekend,

    Glad I came by your video. Good info. Going to Nashville June 1. I figured the weather should not be too hot then. What bars do you recommend in upper broadway?

    • @andrewlindseylifestyle
      @andrewlindseylifestyle  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No problem! Happy you enjoyed it. To be honest, I’m not really a drinker and don’t typically go to bars, so I can’t say from experience. However, I know winners bar and grill and losers bar and grill are popular, and they are right next to each other. They may be worth checking out

    What’s east Nashville? East end? Historic?

    • @andrewlindseylifestyle
      @andrewlindseylifestyle  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's east of downtown. I wouldn't say it's the most historic. It's got an interesting vibe. Parts of it are really cool and hip, where other parts feel a little hood. East Nashville has a lot of restaurants, neighborhoods, businesses, parks, and schools. It's just a mix of everything really.
