Hi Mate, some cracking birds there now, very interesting times. Got to keep shock and the mealy together, their young are stunners. Storms will also prove to be very good fliers. Looking at the range you have would start them on the short distances for the first couple of years then expanding. The house is coming along great too. Still think in Australia there are more than 24 hours in a day ( or in yours certainly 🙂). Thanks again for the update.

loosing 2 hours of daylight now coming into winter cuts into the time i can get stuff done! really keen to get all thses birds up together in the coming weeks, might be hard until the majority of the building is done and things slow down but its going to be a great sight when they are all flocking and then we can look at those tosses!!

@@ManeyPigeons great to see though. Just want to see the birds settled locally first safely before you start thinking any further too. Sport on. Good luck with ongoing works. I do tune into the build channel too now and again high fliers. My mate used to let a couple of high fliers out at the same time as the "racers" which inevitably led to the racing birds circling much higher too. Just an idea too !!

how soon before flying? The birds look ace and when moult done they will be super flyers.....will be interesting to see grouping when they fly.
Do you change diet or make any additions such as vitamins?

Soon as i move the loft ill start trap training them all! things are moving fast on the house side so ill be moving my breeding loft in the mean time also!

I get sick of blue pigeons. Some race guys refuse to have anything but the blues / blue checks. Personally I like coloured birds. I can identify them individually when they fly by and they race just as well as the dreary blue ones.
