Hi, please consider adding a front frame mount system to this bike for future versions. That's a *huge* aspect of what makes a certain famous competitor so appealing. It's hard to carry cargo on a rear rack with a bike this size because of heel strike, and adding a bag to the handlebars makes it unstable. This looks like a very cool bike, but the lack of a front bag means it's not great for commuting or running errands
Hi there, thanks! Glad you're enjoying the CURL so much :) CURL D9 is not currently available but we do have the electric CURL. CURL Ei4 available on our website: usa.dahon.com/collections/bikes/products/curl-ei4?variant=42788545593533
Hi there, yes we do have a UK distributor, Halfords, please visit this page for more information on stock - www.halfords.com/bikes/folding-bikes/?prefn1=brandname&prefv1=Dahon
@@TheUntypicals Hi there, thanks for your feedback. We also have the dealer CH White who has been selling DAHON bikes for years. Here's the link to their DAHON page: foldingbike.biz/epages/7665e38c-067c-4fa0-9037-afac2266f927.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/7665e38c-067c-4fa0-9037-afac2266f927/Categories/ed36e2a7eb6e43e1cf1af5e0100416de
I had been waiting for it for more than a year in China as well 😂 . Hopefully I might be able to buy it on this July or August (very limited volumn of production even in China).
Hi there, this bike has 16 inch wheels :) but we do have 20 inch folding bikes too, including the Mariner, HIT, Vybe D7. Yes we have reps in USA including New York, you can find your local dealer here on our store locator: usa.dahon.com/pages/dealer-locator or you can order bikes online on our website: usa.dahon.com/collections/bikes
Hi, thanks for your question! To check for prices and availability of DAHON bikes in your region please contact your dealer or distributor, you can find their contact details on our website here: dahon.com/contact/
I am the happy owner on dahon curl i8 and I love it, but I disliked the low geat ratio of just 6 meter/ crank rev (this was solved with a 58 teeth crank) and there is no connector for a front bag (as others dahons and brompton have). In this model they have improved the braking power (low in the i8 but sufficient for me ) but not the ither issues.
Hi there, thanks for your feedback about CURL i8, we really appreciate your comments. CURL i8 is an earlier model from the CURL range. We are always looking at how we can keep evolving our products for riders, so customer feedback is always welcome :)
Hi thanks for your feedback :) it will be passed on internally to our team. We do have bikes with each of these features. Our Cargoe T5 has hydraulic disc brakes: dahon.com/bikes/cargoe-t5/ We have the CURL Ei4 with 4 hub gears: dahon.com/bikes/curl-ei4-2/ We will also have a Ciao Ei7 which will include a belt drive and internal hubs.
the CURL D9 share some design similarities with the Brompton, but CURL D9, has its own strengths and advantages. I'm already use to Dahon reliability and their well-performing bikes, ooh and of course the price 😄😁. I'm definitely a Dahon team! 😍

I full agree. And be able to drag the bike folded with the front cargo as a shopping cart. Like I do with my B.
please 20inch version ❤
Six-year owner of a Curl - one of the Kickstarter bikes. Great machine! I'd love to have one of these D9s, but they aren't offered in N.A. 😐

Anyone know what the rear OLD is? I wonder whether one could put an IGH in?
Do you have a UK distributor?

Halfords don't keep your brand in their shops and have a limited range online. Is there other shops in the UK that sell Dahons?

What’s the rider weight limit?
100 KGS/220ish LBS
Sad that it is not available in Germany! No Dahon shop sells it...

Will this have a steel version? The weight limit is so low 😢
Please get fit for yourself, dude 😆
Are those 20" wheels? Any distributors in the US? Specifically NYC?

sad about the weight limit for such a majestic bike 😢
i3/i4/i8 Curl has a weight limit of 130kg, Ei4 136kg. Is the video in error or has Dahon downrated the bike because of the new fork?
When will you produce a bike with drive belt, hydrolic disc breaks and hub gears? Tern has, but you don’t.

大行 駝背佬😂外型幾特別下😂
吾知我英國Brompton d扣又啱吾啱裝呢?
The stem riser looks really cheap in whatever Dahon model. They need to hire better designers.
hahaha looks like brompton redesigned

That's what Brompton said, and they took Dahon to court in the EU. The court threw the case out and ordered Brompton to pay Dahon's legal fees. Ouch!
@@khalilrhlalou1642 Absolutely. I'm enjoying my Mariner D8 and recommend it to others.
